Update:
The cook must have changed. I got my usual burrito molida. They now add cheese and beans which are delicious but what I didn’t like was that they put Carnitas. If I wanted Pork, I would have asked for it. At first, I thought it was a big ground beef piece but I took it out of my mouth and it was like an inch on all sides. I was gagging. If the cook really did change, I may not return.
I love the gorditas. Too bad they only have a limited amount of items they make per day. I recommend you come early to get what you want before they run out.

They only have gorditas Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday.

Delicious tamales! The cooks there know what they are doing. Out of the 3 choices, I personally think the Rojo De Ruerlo was my favorite but all 3 are really good. I just wish there was a little more filling.I would rate thier tamales 8/10.
I also ordered a Asad burrito but I was not a fan of it. I don’t really like black beans and there seemed to be quite a bit in the burrito. I would rate it a 4/10
Thier prices are great, making thier food an amazing value. I highly recommend trying thier food!

Guyss ✨️ run to this place for amazing gorditas & tamales!! This place has been a long time favorite of mine, the tamales always have good flavor and are never dry, the chicharron gorditas had so much flavor and the right amount of spice, so good. I’ll recommend this place forever

Some of the best Tamales in the Denver area, for sure! The team is also amazing and accommodating.

Asada burritos were very good. This is a hole in the wall type of restaurant. Only one table to eat in. Tamales excellent.
Right next to liquor store for ice cold Modelo

The tamales were absolutely delicious, a solid 10/10. However, the only issue I encountered was that it was 12 pm, and they were completely out of tamales. Come on, do better! Fortunately, they managed to get some from a special order they had made extra.
When I arrived, the lady took my order but wrote it down incorrectly. As a result, I ended up leaving without a dozen tamales I needed. To add on, when she answered the phone the first time, she completely forgot that I was waiting for her. I waited for 10 minutes and I hung up and called back and then she was able to help me.
The food was fantastic, but the customer service was abysmal. Why not make more tamales so that you have enough until you close? It’s so disappointing because you’d rather lose customers than make more tamales.
I definitely recommend you ask them to re read your order just to be sure your order is correct. Also call early to make sure they can put apart your order.

These are THE BEST tamales you can buy in the Denver metro area. The masa-to-meat ratio is perfect! The tamales are a large size. There’s lots of shredded pork inside. The red chili is not spicy but still tasty. Tamale masa contains the perfect amount of lard/grease which makes them moist but not greasy. Not salty either. EVERYTHING is perfect. These tamales can be warmed up on the comal, or in the microwave wrapped in a moist paper towel inside a plastic bag up to 3 days after purchase, and they are still delicious!! I’m 100% mexican and I approve this message

Let me start by saying that being Mexican, I’ve head great tamales. I bought one of each first and tried them in the car before committing. These tamales were the closest I’ve found so far to authentic Mexican tamales. Starting with the size. You’re good with 2. The filling is generous and very tasty. red and pork tamales spice was on point. Mom like rajas although it was literally one pepper in the middle of the tamal (I suggest cutting them so it’s uniform) the green with chicken (usually my favorite) were ok. The masa is good. Not too thick, not too lard-y (shinny masa), could be a tad fluffier just need to mix a bit more. Price a bit in the higher side at $22 a dz but it’s a business and they’re good in size. The ONLY thing is that they’re not fully cooked. Maybe because it was the holiday season and they were rushed. I bought them while they were still hot, cooked them for another hour on low and they came out good. The staff was friendly the establishment left little to the imagination. It’s a pick up your tamales and go type of place. I’ll go back in hopes the quality is consistent.

The tamales have a good flavor but a little dry. The rajas con queso could definitely use more cheese.
