We had the vegan street corn, which is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Savory, spicy, sweet, spectacular. The stir fried vegetables were also amazing with vegan chili crisp, and fried garlic! Then, the viet crispy crepe – savory, flavorful, light, delicious!
We bought the kitchen staff a drink; it was so good. Highly recommended!
The flavors were incredible, and I loved how the spice really challenged my palate in the best way. Every bite felt exciting and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere has super cool, vibrant vibes that make the whole experience even better, and the service was absolutely over the top — attentive, friendly, and made us feel celebrated.
The food was amazing across the board, and the mocktails were just as impressive — creative, refreshing, and beautifully presented. Can’t wait to come back and try even more!
We had the rice paper pizza, pork skewer, chicken salad and street corn and could have easily fed 3-4 people. We also both had drinks and a shared a dessert and it was only $66, granted we DID do the happy hour but it’s still a WILD value.
I think this could be a fantastic place to take a group, the street corn was some of the best I’ve had and the FRESHNESS of the chicken salad was amazing.
Once seated, we had to wait several minutes to be served probably around 8 to 10. We were offered a free appetizer which was very kind of them.
I also ordered a beer and got a glass of wine, which they quickly remedied.
As far as the food goes, somethings were good. Some things were OK.
We ordered the cucumber appetizer, which was nice. Definitely something to split with 2 to 3 people. Definitely also has a kick. I would get this again.
We got the pork skewer as well for an appetizer. It was enjoyable. I would also get this again. The sauce was nice. The pork was tender, and the nuts made a good addition.
For the main course, we split the omelette and the drunken noodles.
The omelette I would get again and it was my first time trying something like this. We got the shrimp and pork mix.
The drunken noodle noodles was very celery salt forward. A little too saucy for my liking. A unique flavor profile that eventually became overwhelming. I wouldn’t get this again.
We tried the pandan cake which we both enjoyed.
All in all, I would give this place a solid, four out of five. The atmosphere is cool. I really like the music. The food is OK. The service was well trained and I really appreciated how everyone worked together.
I would go again
Modern Vietnamese restaurant that’s a welcome addition to the Athens restaurant scene.
I tried a number of “small shares” and one “large share”. Didn’t try pho on this occasion though I’ve had it earlier.
There wasn’t a single dish that was bad. Some were good and some very good. Their menu isn’t extensive and that I think is a good thing — there are no duds.
The rice paper pizza is quite interesting in that it combines traditional Vietnamese flavors and textures and presents it a novel form. I enjoyed the pear salad as well — the freshness of flavors that one associates with Vietnamese food came through well. But my favorite was the monkfish (large share) dish.
The prices were quite reasonable too!
