We had Mitch from Smokerhead BBQ come and cater for our large fundraiser. The food was amazing! The best brisket I’ve ever tasted. We also had smoked chicken and pork burnt ends in an amazing sauce. Even the slaw and beans on the side were very special. I highly recommend Mitch for any catering job. He was extremely professional, showed on time and cleaned up when done. Thank you so much for the great job!

After seeing an email from Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, that talked about Smokerhead BBQ, I decided to give Smokerhead a try. My fiancé and I stopped in last night, 1-29-19, and was extremely pleased with our experience. We were pleasantly greeted as we walked in and was told we could sit where ever we would like. Upon sitting, our waitress brought us cups of ice and corn bread to snack on. She also told us to help ourselves to the drink cooler for our beverages. The corn bread was different than other corn bread I’ve had in the past, it was almost like a cake instead of a fragile and crumbly piece of bread. It was delicious and tasted as corn bread should. I ordered the two meat sampler platter, consisting of the brisket and pulled pork. Along with the sampler platter, you get two sides; that which I decided to try the pit beans and cheesy potato chip casserole. The brisket was great, it wasn’t too lean and wasn’t too fatty. It was the perfect balance between the two. The pulled pork was delightful with its smoked taste. I did notice that the pulled pork kinda had a bit of a vinegar taste, the same way that Carolina style pulled pork would be served. It was the perfect amount of Carolina style flavor. What pleased me the most was that the meat was served “dry”, meaning there was no bbq sauce on the meat. This way I could get the full flavor of the meat without sauce. Two bbq sauces were offered in squeeze bottles. One being a sweet and very lightly spiced brown sauce, this sauce reminded me of the kind of bbq sauce you would get with your bbq down in Memphis, Tennessee; where I am from. The other sauce was more of a mustard base sauce, while it was delicious the brown bbq sauce was my favorite cause it made me feel like I was back home in Memphis. The pit beans were good, the Lima beans in them was a different twist. I have never had baked beans with Lima beans in them, surprisingly it worked well! The cheesy potato chip casserole was absolutely phenomenal! It had the right amount of cheesy flavor with the right amount of potato flavor. I have never had a casserole like this but it was awesome! I highly recommend trying it as a side! Overall, Smokerhead impressed me with their hospitality, good cooking, and cozy down home atmosphere; I literally felt like I walked off the streets of a busy Philadelphia suburb and walked into a restaurant in my home town of Atoka, Tennessee. Give it a try, you too will be pleased!

Stopped in while in the area , staff was so welcoming , that’s also goes for chefs that brought out or meals , cool and friendly , we always appreciate kind people , buffalo chicken dip was awesome , we loved the juicy tender brisket just wish there was maybe a bit more salt to make the flavor pop out but would recommend , definitely would try again to try some other things on the menu !

That was the name of the sandwich I ordered and it was one of the specials for the day. A rather delicious sandwich from the first bite to the last. Definitely bringing my family back here to try their other offerings. Very friendly service. Dude had on a killer A Life Once Lost shirts( one of my fave bands) with a pic of The Ultimate Warrior on the front.

The junkyard wings hit the spot. A must try, especially if you have a wing craving. I got it as a take out. I’m glad since it gets a little messy. Brisket and Carolina pulled pork good too. Note: inside Triple

As soon as you pull up you can smell the smoke and you know it’s going to be good. The servers were generous and the price was more than fair.

We had the ribs and brisket, both were great. The fries were good too

This place is a hidden gem. Not only is the food obscenely good, the atmosphere is top notch. There isn’t a thing I’d rather do than listen to Kyuss or some blues and munch on a 1/4 rack of ribs and pulled pork.
