Limited choices so you pick the only place that was open, and then really glad we did, service was excellent, for a small town country bar, the food is superb even with half the tables filled we are still quickly served. Food was hot and tasty.

We stopped in for a bite, and I was blown away by the food quality the burgers were juicy, and the portions were absolutely massive.
The service is truly top-notch; the staff is friendly and makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The interior has that classic, traditional charm that makes the experience feel authentic. Plus, its location right on Main Street is super convenient. Fabulous owners Bill and Misty. A real, honesttogoodness salad bar. Fantastic burgers and chili. Even slot machines!
We were in town to ride bicycles and Silver Dollar is THE BEST hidden gem in all the north and if you’re anywhere near…make the trip to visit! Obviously a favorite of the locals and there was a steady stream of arrivals while we were there for a late lunch. Thanks Misty and Bill!!!

Owners would rather get drunk than serve patrons. Watched them walk a group of 5 out after they waited over hour for burgers when kitchen wasn’t busy. I left after hour and a half still hadn’t received my sandwich. My friends stayed and got charged for it when it arrived 2 hours later.

Great spot we discovered on our travels thru ND. Excellent feed, fantastic staff. Bill was accommodating, friendly, and bid us goodbye with a handshake. He shared his awesome potato masher with 2″ ball which impressed us all, and invited us back for weekend steaks. We’ll definitely plan to make this a stop on future travels. God bless the Silver Dollar (ya’ll come back saloon) and Bill too!

Excellent food, friendly people. Wife ordered hot ghost pepper cheese, jalapeños and hot sauce on her chicken sandwich and raved about it. Steak sandwich was amazing, not shaved steak like most places have. Great prices.

My boyfriend and I drove 8 hours to North Dakota, we were extremely tired and hungry by the time we arrived. We called to ensure The Silver Dollar was still open, the amazing bartender sadly informed us they were just about to close the kitchen, but not a minute later the owner called back and told us he would stay open for us to come in! When we arrived the owner and bartender were so friendly and welcomed us with open arms. The food was incredible and freshly made with love! We wound up sitting down at the bar to eat and drink and had a wonderful conversation with the owner that we’ll remember for a lifetime. Thank you so much for a beautiful experience. We highly recommend all visitors and locals to come here!
