Great pizza
Was in Pennsylvania visiting family back in October and wanted to have a Sicilian pizza for the drive back
Only place that was open at 9am was Pappy J’s.
Was a distance to pick it up…. but worth it, my only regret I didn’t order two for me and my son traveling home to PHX…..

I just ordered 6 pieces of pizza & a cheese bacon fry from uberEats for pickup.
I get home & the entire undercrust and side crust is bone white. First bite into the pizza its as doughy and chewy as possible. The photos of the pizza online actually have a crust that is lightly brown on top and bottom, ours was purely white with a hint of grey. Instead of potentially putting 2-3 pieces in my oven I threw it all away. Fries are frozen which is normal, but the entire inside of the fry is dry as if they were freezer burnt. Very disappointed. Now I know why there is a raw food warning under every item on the menu on ubereats, because they only cooked my pizza for 5 minutes. Long enough for the cheese to melt but not long enough for it to bubble or for the edges of the crust to crisp up. I never complain, but this makes me sick. Raw dough underneath barely cooked cheese.

Well what can I say. Got pizza from here for the first time since it was sold. LOVE THE CRUST! As for the sauce it’s over the top.

My son in law and daughter got wings and a sub. I will definitely order again. The sub and wings looked fantastic and smelled amazing.

Great place tucked away in the community it serves. The 2 ladies that took care of me were very pleasant and helpful. I’ll be back when I’m in the area. Had 2 slices of pizza with mushroom and olive, done in a reasonable time and was good value for the money.

Pappy J’s definitely makes top of preferred list for go to subs (hoagie, grinder, sandwich??? Your sociology, your label). There’s something about the steak sub, other locations don’t have… What’s it called again??? O’yeah… meat!!! And it’s the chewable cut, no shaved straw sucking there. I actually feel like I bit the cow . I’ll stop, that expressed enough.

I ordered Meat lover Pizza and 12 dozen well done wings on 1/24/24 and the pizza was what I asked for and it was good but the wings were burnt and I reached out to Pappy’s via phone and no one answered. So, messaged them on their Facebook page and the owner. I sent the owner 2 pics telling him that I received burnt wings and would like refunded for the wings only because the pizza was good, I paid $61 supporting this business. The owner after seeing the pics, said they weren’t burnt they were well done and that he will credit me 12 dozen wings. I told the owner I have 20 people who have seen the same pics who also agree their burnt wings. I want a refund because I will not be ordering wings at this establishment again. The owner said he’s going to contact DoorDash for them to refund my money. I will never support this business again!

Writing this review as I am eating. Being from the Ohio Valley I really appreciate the Sicilian style pizza. I prefer it over any other. I just discovered this place today while searching Google. Reviews were great. Decided to give it a try. I am definitely NOT disappointed at all. Crust is fluffy and crunchy, sauce has a great flavor and the toppings are not skimpy. Great experience tonight! Very delicious!

This has always been a nice little store, but now with their new ownership it’s so much better. They have great hours and actually stick to those hours. The food is great the prices are even better and kids LOVE it. We go in all the time just to grab gum balls bouncy balls from the machines.
The staff is very friendly and I have my fingers crossed to one day be part of their staff too… 100% recommend.

The food was kinda pricy for the quality of it. I ordered the pickle chips, hardly any in the bag for $7.99. the chicken salad was ok it could of had more veggies, chicken, fries, and cheese. And then I ordered a Bbq chicken pizza with onions. It was a little over cooked, hardly any BBQ sauce on it at all, couldn’t taste the onion sure to the lack of there being any. But the customer service was great. Just the food price and quality was not very good.
