This place is really bad for weight loss plans & budget planning becos they cook do dam Great you can’t help but to buy breakfast, lunch & dinner everyday. OMG. You gonna gain weight becos you can’t buy nothing less than LARGE DE FOOD SO GOOD. OMG. If you really want AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN FOOD ..GO YA SO! NUH GO NO WHERE ELSE AS THIS PLACE IS 100% ON POINT JAMAICAN BRAND COOKING & FLAVORS. MY FAVORITES – OXTAIL, red peas rice & plantains & covered with the spicy jerk sauce…de flavor send you taste bud on Jamaica reggae dance hall. The JERK PORK & JERK CHICKEN ESPECIALLY WID DE SECRET SPICY JERK SAUCE & red peas & rice wide veggies IS BETTER Than the well known Scotchies restaurant in Jamaica. They would run scotchies out of business if they were next door the food that GREAT. OMG If you like spicey food get 2 extra sauce on the side, you gonna blow fire & you mluth & belly is going be very happy. The stew cowfoot dinner & stew peas wid pigs tail mek you cry fe you madah (mommy) & beg fe more. One bite of de food mek you shut your eyes & see Jamaica blue water, hear the laugher of the people & heck you smell Bob Marley weed just wid one bite of this restaurant food. Lol Delicious, delicious absolutely delicious.. I challenge you to give them a try & bet you will never buy from any other restaurants. Kudos to the chef…I’m heading home to Arizona next week but I will be longing to return for your good cooking. . Thank you for making my Florida visit especially great becos I was home sick for good Jamaican food & you never disappoint me. Keep up the great job. Sorry I ate the food so fast forgot to take the pictures BEFORE Hand so only have left overs to show you. Saving it for lunch tomorrow

Looking at all these reviews I was ready for my curry chicken lunch special. Baby, the cook who prepared ya’ll food had left cause baby! Awful and I got ripped off. The lunch special is advertised as 8.50. Look at my receipt. He told me while he was ringing me that the tax was Inna it

I know they aren’t from around here. Last time I saw a Jamaican restaurant offer goat soup was in East Orange NJ. It’s giving Northerner. It’s giving tolls. It’s giving Garden State Parkway and NJ Turnpike. The oxtails are flavorful and fall off the bone. The cabbage and rice and peas are delicious. Creamy food blends full of loving and knowledge hands. By FAR the best Caribbean food in this area (I have tried, believe me) of course I’ll return.

M & A Caribbean Restaurant, Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my chatter and 2 cents on the food.

First off let me warn you the folks are nice BUT are on Jamaican time. Which means they are usually 45-60 minutes behind in our time span.

Also though there are tables to sit down to eat, they are more geared for take out. Plus this is listed as a grocery store. There was not a lot on the shelves. Only to go containers were available.

Now my food. I requested the jerk chicken, rice & cabbage. $9.00. At 1115 AM this was the only thing ready. ( the hours stated they were open at 9 AM)

I have been to Jamaica and have had jerk chicken here..But never had it with a sauce on it. It tasted okay, I just not was expecting it.

To be honest this was just a mediocre meal. You can find MUCH better jamiacan food in Ft. Myers.

I will pass on coming back and go to Ft. Myers when the need for jerk chicken or oxtail strikes me.

Just moved to Cape Coral 4 months ago. I found this place with a quick google search.
I ordered the oxtail which came with rice/ beans, cabbage, and plantains. The oxtail were seasoned well and cooked to perfection. My friend had the beef patty and said it was delicious. I also ordered jerk chicken to go which was also very good. The sauce on jerk chicken threw me off a bit, but it was tasty. The people running this little Caribbean gem are welcoming and kind. I can’t wait to go back. I definitely want to try the curry chicken and shrimp. Im 100 percent Italian , but I know good Caribbean food. If you love Caribbean food check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Our favorite spot to get oxtail by our house and the goat dishes are also. Meals are always on point. The goat soup is bangin. We usually get some beef patties also. Service is on point as well. My hubby loves their hot sauce they make and sell there.

The food was satisfactory, though I have had better elsewhere. I paid $20 for a small oxtail plate that included only three pieces, each cut in half, which made the portion feel limited. Additionally, the restaurant charged more than $6 for a 6oz bottle of Grace hot sauce, which seemed excessive. Overall, I found the pricing to be higher than expected for what was offered.
