Okay, so wow!!! Just moved to the area and stumbled on this cozy little Italian joint, and let me tell you… total gem. I had the short rib tortellini (legit melted in my mouth), and my partner got the chicken parm, which was crispy, saucy perfection.
Our waitress Kayleigh? Absolute angel. Chill, sweet, and super on it without hovering, 10/10 vibes.
It felt like the kind of place you instantly wanna become a regular at. Food was fire, the service was amazing, and the whole experience was just chef’s kiss. We’ll 100% be back. Probably way too often.

Very good food and wine menu. We enjoyed the chicken piccata and gnocchi and dessert. And great bread! All our food taste great, with lovely presentation and the ambience is nice, and the staff is friendly. Our waiter, Ezra, was such a nice guy and knew the menu well. We will come back.

We had a really nice dinner here at Managua. We started with the baked ricotta, and our entrees were the gnocchi and a penne special. All of it was excellent. Our server checked on us often and our glasses were always full. It’s a small restaurant, but perfectly placed downtown. Prices were good and the service was great.

We were in Salinas while on a road trip visiting national parks. This restaurant is great! The service was exceptional, food was delicious, and atmosphere was comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great staff, super super nice! Feels homey and food taste freshly made. I tried the home made pumpkin pie cheesecake (was ABSOLUTELY best I’ve ever eatten) was home made so it tells you what you need to know! Would recommend and would def come back!

Amazing bread, great pasta- we got the ravioli and a custom arrabbiata spicy sauce spaghetti. Food was delicious, great service, amazing decor and a great addition to Main Street Salinas. Definitely coming back

The lasagna special came in plastic wrap to be reheated, sent back because it was cold in the middle. They reheated it and it still was lukewarm. Someone mentioned it was comparable in taste to frozen lasagna. Ok, fine, but it was expensive.
Very limited lunch menu with mostly salads and very very average sandwiches. They charge for bread service, and it’s ok, IF they bake it there, which is what the server implied when she said it would come out in a minute. It was clearly store bought because it was cold. We only ordered another round because the food took so long and we were already invested in the meal.
The server was very nice but completely overwhelmed. Maybe because they don’t take reservations for groups of less than 6 people, and it was packed. You could tell she was doing her best.
I wasn’t going to write a review but saw the high rating (how?) and figured I’d provide my opinion. This was my second visit after a very average first visit, so it’s my fault for trying again.
But, just an opinion, maybe you’ll enjoy it.

Really good ambiance, very friendly staff, very clean, and a cute romantic spot for a date, or just a relaxing datenight with your significant other. I was kind of bummed they didn’t have Lasagna in the menu, but I was still very happy with my order. Definitely worth visiting again.
