Apparently if you can’t get the QR code to scan at the door to pay to get in the $40, you can just pay the 50cent looking bouncer 50 bucks! But make sure your payment goes through or he will physically place his hands on you and your guest and remove you with no warning! Not sure what happened, I thought my payment went through but an hour and a half later he was putting his hands on us and pushing us out the door. Would not recommend, will not be going back! Customer service is definitely not to be found here!

DJ played electronic and tropical house. Arrived at 10 pm on a Saturday night with $10 cover and the crowd is 95% women, about 1/3 of the people are dancing and the music and decor was great just low turn out.

Went to a private event here. The place had a really cool vibe with a unique decor that has to be experienced. Food was good, but the drinks were outstanding. This place probably have the best mixologist in Richmond.

Get in before 9 and there is no cover charge. This is a cute little bar behind Sabi. The Jungle theme is fun and the drinks are delicious and adorable and STRONG. The also have a few appetizer items. I suggest having dinner at Sabi and then rolling into the jungle room for what some might call “dancing” and drinks. They played techno music while we were there. They do have a no flip flop or men in shorts policy.

You won’t find anywhere else like this place in Richmond! It’s beautiful, so fun, and very spacious inside. It’s Tiki themed, they have amazing drinks and good vibes all around. Check it out for sure!! 🙂

Omg what an amazing time I had last night at the “BLACK TECHNO MATTERS” event! The energy in that space was incredible, this was my first time at the jungle room and I’ll definitely be back. I eat at Sabai often and believe creating this space was BRILLIANT. I did not feel like I was in Richmond, this felt like I was in another place. I need to add that I was totally comfortable in this space being completely SOBER. I had a ginger beer centered mocktail that was absolutely DELICIOUS! The bartenders were awesome and friendly. Can’t wait to work with this space in the future!

This is THE spot to go to for electronic music in Richmond. It doesn’t have to be so good but it is. Friday nights and Saturday nights from around 8 to midnight, with people usually coming in around 9 or 10. They do an amazing job selecting DJs from in and around the area. Wonderful house music parties.

Had my credit card # swiped while there. Whoever it was tried to use it for DoorDash the next day in town. Was also double charged twice. Thankfully my credit card company caught it and flagged as fraud. Will not be returning, which is sad because it was good music.
