Orly was an absolute pleasure! I am a bartender myself and deeply appreciate the attentive service she provided. She helped make our father-daughter lunch an extra-special treat. I treat my customers and others the way I treat myself, so when Orly provided that same type of service, I knew she was a keeper. I know I will be spending more afternoons at Jimmy’s, knowing that she will be there to provide and support a friendly, loving environment for my family and me. Thank you, Orly and Jimmy’s, for an outstanding experience.
Thank you,
Melissa

The food was pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but the options are amazing. There’s something for everyone which is great. It gives someone’s cozy dining room with a fancy flair. Our waitress was McKenzie. Today was her birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY McKenzie!! She was fabulous and made the experience there that much better.

I went in for dinner & left with a core memory.
I literally had one of the best experiences of my life having dinner at Jimmy’s. I was in town for only a few days for a work conference and while in the city of Baltimore I wanted to try the best crab cake the city had to offer. After some research it seemed to boil down to two places. One within walking distance of my hotel, one 30 minutes across town. A Baltimore native that was also in attendance for the conference told me Jimmy’s, while 30 minutes from the hotel, was definitely the way to go.
It was a quiet Tuesday night and found a spot at the end of the U shaped bar once I finally made it to Jimmy’s. I’m someone with approximately 10 years of restaurant experience and as I looked around I noticed a few things. The restaurant was clean, tables were flipped as soon as anyone saw that they were empty, everyone working was neat and clean, everyone approached me with a smile and asked if I needed anything. Everyone moved with a purpose and genuinely looked as if they enjoyed being there and took pride in what they were doing.
The first bartender Kat, explained the menu and answered any and all questions I had throughout the night. To start I decided on the Oysters Rockefeller and the Crab Cake Egg rolls. Honestly both with fantastic. No notes. The oysters were fresh, the filling was full to the top of the shell but the flavors didn’t over power the taste of the oyster. The crab cake egg rolls were full of lump crab and savory, sweet and a little spicy flavor. The egg rolls came out crispy and full. No air between the filling and the crispy wrapper. I am a lover of seafood and a sushi equally so when I saw that Jimmy’s also served sushi I couldn’t leave without trying at least one roll as well. The problem was I was getting full lol. I decided on the 8oz crab cake for dinner with a side of grilled broccolini and I got the Zeus roll to go. While waiting on dinner a few conversations took place. Grier and I talked about why I was in town, how I ended up at Jimmy’s and the TailGoat experience they had during football season and a few times throughout the year. He told me he appreciated that I came out the way to have dinner at Jimmy’s and as a thank you he sent me home with a couple bags of their signature potato chips. Mohammed, the manager on duty also stopped by. We talked about a few things, I complimented his staff and he too appreciated I chose Jimmy’s for dinner and he offered me a complimentary dessert.
The 8oz crab cake was delicious! It was full of lump crab. Not too “wet” or over done. Like literally the perfect amount of everything. The broccolini was grilled, crunchy and flavorful, also delicious. I took my Creme Brulee cheesecake back to the hotel and had my way with it lol. While the food in itself was 10/10 highly recommend! It was the staff that made this experience more than I could have imagined. Mohammed took me on a tour and showed me the carryout area, the banquet halls and both dining rooms. He explained the intention of details in the decor of the dining rooms, explained their shipping processes and food truck operations. I really felt like a VIP. My experience at Jimmy’s was a breath of fresh air and I wanted to make sure to thank them again. Kat, Bri, Grier and Mohammed thank you again for a wonderful night. I will be a fan of Jimmy’s for the rest of my life. I wish you all continued success.

This was my first time visiting Jimmy’s and from start to finish it was a phenomenal time. I can’t believe I’ve lived in Baltimore my entire life and never been here before! The presentation, the prices, the atmosphere, the service was 10/10 if I had the option to rate it that. I will be back! Shout out to Marshall for catering to our needs without even asking.

I stopped in on a Monday and saw on the menu there was happy hour all day. (Our host didn’t tell us about happy hour but told several other tables around us which was weird). However, I ordered the Rockefeller oysters which were 10/10. The shrimp skillet with garlic bread was different but pretty good. Mini lobster tails were so tender and perfect. Ordered a Moscow mule which was pretty basic, then a fall cinnamon cocktail that was different but tasty. Crab cakes and broccolini were also 10/10, broccolini was seasoned and spicy which I loved, everything was super fresh and hot off the press! When I return definitely going back to this place, huge menu with plenty options.

If you’re looking for amazing seafood and an unbeatable vibe, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood is THE place! The atmosphere is electric—fun, lively, and full of personality. It’s the kind of spot where you instantly feel like you’re somewhere special.
The food? Absolutely next level. Fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Every bite was delicious and perfectly seasoned.
The service was top-notch—friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. Everyone clearly loves what they do, and it shows. Jimmy’s is more than a restaurant; it’s an experience. I can’t wait to come back!

We drove all the way from Chicago. Illinois, for this restaurant, it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was awesome! We ordered so much from the menu and tried so many new things. And it all was so amazing. And good. Our waitress Mia did everything she could to make us feel at home. She was 1 in a million, also all other waitresses and servers constantly checked on us too. Would highly recommend this place!!!!!❤️

Drove all the way from Chicago to eat here and it lived up to the hype! Beyond impressed with the service, atmosphere and food! Mia was our server and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and well taken care of. She was so friendly and even put her own personal touch on our dining experience to put it over the top by getting us each a gift from the manager for coming so far to eat here. The live music was superb and really added to the ambiance. I can’t recommend this place enough! Come eat here at all costs, it’s worth it!

Amazing food and service. We save this restaurant for special occasions because it’s a bit of a drive from home but worth the trip. Appetizers are great especially nachos with crab. Shrimp and steak. Crab dip and soups are fresh made with tons of crab. Steaks are on par with better steak houses. Trip is worth stuffed shrimp or fish. Even the burgers and tacos are amazing. Ask for the bread its not brought to table without request. Can’t complain about anything except its crowded and a bit noisy. Make a reservation.

We had seen many great things about Jimmy’s. It was enough to plan a trip around from NC. We ate here for dinner on 2 separate occasions trying their vast menu options out. The Crab Cakes are the best we’ve ever had! The crab cake egg rolls, Crab Mac and Cheese, and nachos were also very good. The freshness of the ingredients and skillfulness of the kitchen really shows when the food arrives at your table. We only had two small complaints, you can’t get some of the smaller dishes served at lunch for dinner, such as burgers and sliders. The other complaint is we ordered desserts to go and it took a while to receive, and when we got back to our hotel, we noticed it had been sliced 1-2 days prior based on their sticker. The dessert wasn’t worth the price we paid but the rest of our meal definitely was! The service was ok but not exceptional. The restaurant was very well kept clean and up to date. Overall it was a great experience and if we’re ever back in the area, we will stop again.
