Great customer service. I went to Tropical Smoothie for my birthday smoothie and it was a smooth process. The associate asked me what kind of smoothie I would like and they fixed me right on up. No cost. The environment was nice and very spacious. I might just be going back because I host a lot of events showing other people how they can work from home so this would be an idea place for my next event.

This was my first visit to Tropical Smoothie, and unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience.
I initially went through the drive-thru but decided to go inside since I had never had a smoothie before. As I parked, I noticed two male employees taking out the trash. I spoke to them and then went inside to place my order.
At the register, I asked the cashier if they offered samples since I was new. She explained they did not and that smoothies only came in one size. I asked for recommendations, and she gave several good options. I ended up purchasing two smoothies and allowed her to choose the flavors for me.
While watching my order being prepared, I noticed one of the male employees who had just taken out the trash walk behind the counter and immediately began handling my order without washing his hands. I was shocked and very uncomfortable. I asked the cashier if that was still my order, and she confirmed it was. I explained that I no longer wanted it due to the lack of handwashing. She agreed and said she would remake the smoothies.
What happened next made the situation even worse. The same employee stepped away briefly, turned back toward me, and began picking his nose in plain view of customers and security cameras. He then proceeded to start preparing another order without washing his hands at all.
This was extremely unsanitary and unacceptable. Basic hygiene and food safety should be non-negotiable in any food establishment. As a first-time customer, this experience was disgusting and very disappointing. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue immediately for the safety of customers.

Edit: ive been coming here for months. Going to get smoothies about 3 times a week. They have been doing good for months. But the past month, they have completely fallen off. Whoever is making the smoothies lately is straight trash. And need to be fired. This is my fourth time getting a watered down smoothie and I taste no chocolate or peanut butter in my chocolate butter protein smoothie. Its mostly taste like banana, water, and dirt. I don’t know if the cocoa nibs are old or they changed the brand but it taste like straight dirt. No chocolate!
I miss the old workers. The new workers there do not know how to make smoothies at all. They need to be corrected or fired. This economy is too bad for them to be constantly messing up $10 smoothies! I want a $50 refund because i wasted a good $50 over the past month.
Id tried to give them grace but this will be my fifth and final time coming to this location. Sad because i loved this location! It was convenient for me to come here because its not too far from the gym and i would come here after working out.

I like coming to this place because the food is hot and delicious. However, this morning, the workers were unprofessional. I was at the window waiting on my food, and it took them awhile. The whole time, I heard arguing/ loud aggressive tone. I asked could I get a refund because there were other ppl’s orders ready who were behind me, yet, I was still waiting. Of course, I couldn’t get a refund, and my order came 30 secs later. I will come back, but I hope service is better.

I regret spending money on product. Now I must proceed to file a complaint and review.

While eating an açaí fruit bowl I purchased from Store #795, Goodman Rd East located in Southaven, MS on April 20, 2025. I bit down on a sharp, purple plastic object embedded in the food. I immediately spit it out and discovered it was a thick piece of purple plastic from the store’s plastic açaí container that they use to prep their açaí bowls with. A fact that was confirmed by staff members on-site.

Unfortunately, the object cracked my simi-decade tooth, resulting in a painful dental injury. I’ve since visited a dentist, who evaluated the damage and provided a quote for capping the tooth.

I reported the issue to the manager on duty, Ms. Richie Patel. When I requested to fill out an incident report form, I was told there was no such form and that she needed to “speak with her boss” before proceeding. This response felt unusual and gave the impression that the store may have been attempting to avoid formally recording the incident. It also gave me the impression that this franchise did not take the matter seriously!
It’s been 6 months, I haven’t received feedback from the owner of the store via phone nor email. At this point, do anyone have the next solution to get this matter resolved?

Been coming here for years. Once they acknowledge you, it’s cool. But they will leave you standing there with no acknowledgement. I stood there for 10 minutes and no one said hello or thank you for your patience. It takes 0 effort to speak to and thank your customers for coming in AND WAITING. They only had 1 customer. I left a thru continued to walk past me and not acknowledge to that I was there to place an order.

Just went through the drive thru and had a very disappointing experience. 10/1/25 @ 11:25ish, I pull into the drive thru, with 2 cars ahead of me waiting to order. Didn’t order until 11:35, and ordered a super green Ceasar chicken wrap along with a detox island green smoothie. Somehow, you all were able to give me the smoothie I ordered, yet you gave me someones online order named Valorie. Completely different wrap. How do you get online orders mixed up with drive thru orders? Maybe if your employees spent half as much time paying attention to their work instead of having small talk you might get orders out faster and more business. I will be going to Smoothie King from now on.

Bad customer service did not relate how much the order was and as a person on the bigger side, I was looked at as if I was in the wrong line. No, no type of ending at exchange Like we’re just obligated to spend our money here. There was NOT a have a great day . On multiple occasions, this had happened. This is not just a one visit ordeal.

Why would you deep clean the floor during business hours where people can slip and fall in cleaning products and copious amounts of water? The whole floor is saturated from wall to wall. This is more than just mopping. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. What if someone with mobility issues comes through the door?
