I do not know what the allure is about Chalet Restaurant. It is so dirty inside. Restaurants with carpet should be outlawed. Then there is the food – ick! My hamburger was so overcooked that soaking it in water could not rehydrate this patty. The “special seasoning” I paid extra for was nothing more than McCormick’s Hamburger Seasoning. The description sounded wonderful and creative, but the reality is that anyone could do better at home with a fry pan on the stove. My fries were cold and my drink was never refilled.
The staff was very pleasant. I appreciated their kindness, but it was not enough to overcome the high price for poor food quality.

For a restaurant that markets itself as home style cooking, I found the food to be about as quality as you would get a hotel continental breakfast. Service was OK though the waitress didn’t smile once. Maybe she was having a bad day so i can’t hold that against her. I won’t be returning.
