Steven was great & showed patience in his service to us. His recommendations were right on target.
We were very happy with the quality of the food we received. Portions were just right, even had to take some home for dinner.
The Tin Can Alley was perfect venue to walk around in while waiting on pizza. My family enjoyed the arcade upstairs & NM tourist shop. Brewery on site had great beers.
I got the Sausage & Shroom pizza, which usually has S-A BBQ sausage, fresh mushroom, house-made mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, basil, and olio. I subbed the cheeses for their vegan cheese, and it was great! I wouldn’t have known it was a vegan cheese substitute, and the pizza was appetizing.
I got bruschetta for the group and it was a refreshing finger food to share. I’d get it again.
I was greeted quickly and the customer service was great. I ordered the Carne Pizza and when the buzzer went off, I jumped to grab it. Again, I was hungry. But alas, I had to wait. Onward to the hotel, only minutes away.
All checked in and peeled back the box top and the pizza looked good. When I picked up a slice though, the tip of the slice flopped down, worse than a European soccer player, and the toppings all fell back to the box.
The crust was extremely thin, like paper thin; see the photo. While the outside crust was cooked, the interior of crust wasn’t. Soggy, doughy, crust with minimal sauce and no toppings. It made the pizza off putting. I don’t like to fold pizza from the tip back to the crust. If I wanted that, I would order a calzone.
This seems to be a trend in the non-chain pizza places. Uncooked/unfinished interior dough.
That being said, the toppings tasted FANTASTIC. So much flavor in the meats and cheese. That’s why this is 2 stars. If I’m back through here, I’ll give something else they offer a try instead. Here’s to next time.
