Best pizza around, all natural fresh ingredients, they make their own dough, a big brick oven, and it just taste amazing. Great unique atmosphere, there is a lot to see here. Ask to see the kitchen and watch the whole process.

An experience I won’t forget: Fist, Sabula is Iowa’s only island town. Second, the restaurant is weird (in a fabulous way). Third, the pizza was really good. Forth, the owners and staff were super cool hippies (not hipsters–authentic hippies) Eating off paper plates at kitchen tables surrounded by Rolling Stone covers added to the charm.

The staff here is very accommodating, we came with a group of 18 people and they were very willing to find a place where we can all sit together! The pizza was fantastic and the servers were very kind with our confusing orders 🙂 I loved the fresh ingredients and unique pizza options as well! Definitely not like any place I have been before!!they had many activities to keep you occupied during the short wait but prepare yourself it is very unique!:)

This place is quirky. Sometimes the service is terrible, and I sometimes question the cleanliness of the place. But you know what, I love the place. The pizza is fantastic and the experience is one of those things that makes you feel like you’re actually living. If you’ve never been, prepare yourself. It might not be a perfect experience, but settle in and enjoy the moment. A wonderful piece of this country.

If I could give more than five stars I would. This was a charming place that I wish I lived closer to! The pizza was phenomenal. The staff were friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I will drive the three hours to go again any time I can!

If you’re expecting a corporate pizza experience, turn around. This is a quirky small town pizza place that does wood-fuel, brick oven pizza well. They’ll show you the set up out back which is neat. Some charring, great toppings, and tasty. Limited selection of drinks so don’t expect 119 brews on tap. Not that kinda place. The inside has a lot to keep you entertained for the short time you’ll wait for your pizza or appetizers. Great classic rock music.

Best pizza place in my book! Relaxed atmosphere with all kinds of history on the walls to capture your attention, or you can play Trivial Pursuit. Wood fired oven makes pizza unlike regular pizzas, and the thin crust keeps you from over stuffing yourself, but that depends on the appetizers you might consume before the pizza comes out!

I love going to Bombfire Pizza! The atmosphere is laid back & everyone is friendly. They offer beer , wine , appetizers , warm pizza type sandwiches w/homemade bread , and of course, pizzas!
My favorite kind of pizza is their CHICKEN ALFREDO.
And, my favorite kind of wine is BY THE DAM–GOOD WINE, made by a local winery.
I definitely recommend Bombfire Pizza to everyone!

I would give this three and a half stars. As the name implies, they have pizza, and it is very good. They have interesting toppings, so don’t expect to walk in and get a deep dish pepperoni. They bake their thin crust pizza in a brick oven with toppings like BBQ chicken and spicy Thai chicken. The place is quirky, in a small town, and from the outside you might be skeptical, but it’s colorful, unique, and friendly on the by inside.

The pizza was amazing. The place reminds me of Yats over in Indy, except for pizza. The bread, great. We had 3 different types. Our 8yr daughter ate an entire half bbq to herself.
Thanks for the awesome meal on our day trip.
