Tried this place tonight for the first time. The food is great. Some of the best mac and cheese I have ever had and it’s hard to impress me when it comes to mac and cheese. The beef patties and Curry chicken patties were amazing as well. Plus they were closing so rather than throwing food away they decided to just throw me some extra for free. Great service. Definitely a breath of fresh air in this rinky dink country town. Thanks guys!!!

Coming from south Florida I haven’t filled the patty void. Was driving through Franklinton and stopped when i saw this place. These where some of best patties ever. Excellent service too! Stop here and you won’t be disappointed!

New Jamaican restaurant in Franklinton. A small place with limited seating. Got takeout, jerk chicken sandwich was very good and the family liked the beef patties, just enough spice. Nice to see it in town, I will be back for more.

First time eating here with our family a couple weeks ago. Great atmosphere and the family running the place was super friendly! We got jerk chicken plates as well a spicy patty and it all was wonderful! Spicy patty was not too spicy—just right! Will get again for sure! Our 2 kids got the jerk chicken sandwiches and they loved the coco bread so much that now that’s what we ALL will order next time!!! Thanks to the owners for opening up this place—it’s going into our permanent rotation of eating-out spots!!! “Try it, you’ll like it!”

First time visiting. Very nice people, the kids were cute and polite. The food is outstanding. I got the jerk chicken, (tender and tasty), Mac and cheese (definitely home made), rice and beans (delicious) and the plantains (loved them). Good portion size and reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back (probably tomorrow)!

Stumbled upon this gem while dropping my daughter of to a friends house and was quite surprised to have found a Jamaican spot in the area after a quick search for something good to eat. I wasn’t disappointed! Food was delicious, and I’ve eaten from several Jamaican spots from all of Raleigh to areas in Florida and beyond! Highly recommended!!!

Tried the Patty Shack for the first time at lunch and was blown away. Everything was delicious and flavorful. I had the Jerk Chicken combo, which turned out to be the most juicy, and well seasoned I have ever had. Had to try a Patty as well, and the sweet / spicy was perfectly balanced. The portions are quite large, so I had extra for lunch the next day, and it was just as tasty! I will definitely be returning and would recommend this place to all.

So glad this place is open in Franklinton. We needed some more variety. The family atmosphere is great . My son (who never eats jerk chicken) couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. The cabbage was cooked well as well as the rice and peas and patty. I can’t say enough about the food. Can’t wait to go back and try the oxtails.
