Inventive pizzas & house-brewed beer served in a bustling, colorful hangout with psychedelic art.

One of those places that is totally worth the hype!!
Great ambiance- cozy interior that doesn’t feel cramped even though it is bustling, huge fire pits outside to wait by making even the winter cozy. The wait was only 30 minutes even at 7pm on a Saturday during busy winter season. Easy to grab a quick, delicious local beer from the bar to enjoy on the patio while you wait to get buzzed for your table.
Great food! Had the Diablo cheese sticks. Two kinds of cheese with a house made chipotle ranch dipping sauce. The pizza was gigantic and loaded with fresh toppings. Tons of good veggie options. We did a half and half with the veggie delight and wild mushroom pies. The Denali sauce on the mushroom pie was insanely good, bursting with flavor, and the veggie was perfectly loaded but to where everything still cooked really nicely.
Great service! Our server and everyone we interacted with and saw was so warm and friendly, adding to the overall good vibes of this place.
Happy to have bought a cool shirt to remember this unique spot by.
Definitely has me wanting to check out the other locations, and we will when we are back in town.

Popular spot and I understand why. Pizza is delicious! They let you split any pizza in half if with any other pizza on their menu. It’s awesome and a great way to split a pie with someone. I also had the Moose Pie for dessert, which is just their version of a mud pie. It’s delicious if you’re looking for something cold to eat in Alaska and it’s also very shareable with someone else. You could go there with someone and only buy 1 pizza and a moose pie but essentially each get your own pizza by splitting it. Awesome cheap date for Anchorage!

Michaela took great care of us, and the pizza was fire!
Be sure and get a look at their dessert menu. Some pretty great choices there.
Taps galore! If you’re a beer human, this is THE SPOT for you.
I recommend getting here around 4:30-5:30 before the crowd really starts to build. Get your table, stay, and meet some fun folks on staff, and there to have a good time.

Very overrated. I’ve never had a great experience at Moose’s Tooth, and this last order will be my last. Ordered a White pizza, with bacon and red onion. I’ll be generous in saying that there was one piece of bacon used, but technically it was added, but in no way worth the additional $6. The pepperoni tasted ok, but while they managed to cook the dough, there was so much grease there was no way to hold the pizza on its own. I wouldn’t think you would need to pan fry a fresh pizza in order to get some stability in a crust. We did eat some of the pizza, otherwise 1 star

Top best pizza we’ve ever had!! A barista in town recommended this place to us and I’m glad we stopped by! We ordered online ahead of time and picked up our order with no issues. I look forward to stopping by again.

Mine and my husbands first time coming here, the place was packed and we thought we’d have to wait, but we were seated immediately and got very fast service. The food was great. I highly recommend the Nashville nachos for an appetizer. Wait staff was very nice as well!

I know… I’m an oddity. I did NOT enjoy the pizza—but I absolutely loved their salads. Don’t go by my pizza opinion though… clearly I’m in the minority. People were walking out with 3–4 boxes at a time, and the place was pizza-consuming crowded. Also worth noting: their team is super professional and genuinely friendly….Food score 5/5 for fresh tasting, high quality salad ingredients

A very busy place! Was told it would be a 40 minute wait. Love that you can grab a drink and wait on the patio around the fire pit while you wait. The wait ended up only being 20 minutes. Our waitress was very friendly. Loved that they do 1/2 &1/2 pizzas.
We tried the carnivore, the classic, call of the wild and chicken bacon ranch. The pizza crust is very good! The chicken bacon ranch was our least favorite.
The root beer is crisp and delicious!
Tried the pineapple upside cheesecake was disappointed that it lacked pineapple flavor.
Overall would recommend and come back!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon around 2 PM, and though very busy, we were seated in about 10 mins. It did take about 45 mins to an hour to get our food though. I honestly think our food was passed over in the window a few times as it was warm but not hot. The pizza was really great though. We did a half and half with the Napolian and the chicken garlic pizza.
One person in our group had the blueberry cobbler and said it was amazing!
Overall, this is a great place to eat with adult beverages, pizza, pastas, and desserts! I’d totally eat there again when visiting Anchorage!

Dinner on a weeknight, seated after a very short wait. I had heard about Moose’s Tooth before even arriving in Alaska so I knew I had to try them! I was not disappointed! Ordered a pizza for the table to enjoy and it met expectations. The crust was perfectly cooked and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Our server was friendly and attentive. Already planning a return visit before departing Alaska! I highly recommend Moose’s Tooth!!
