I have tried some of the food like the noodle soup, generals chicken, lomo saltado ,some fried noodles, fried rice and it tastes amazing. Can request to remove some spices that u don’t like too.. Definitely a good restaurant to visit in Ketchum. They got nicest staffs also.

We came in for lunch and although there was a good portion of food, it was average. The soup and the entree had way too much salt and fried rice was cold.

China Panda is often a forgotten treasure in Ketchum. The food is delicious, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Takeout is an option. The restaurant is definitely on the quiet side.

Another update to say that problem with adding charges has been fixed. For over a year, we are consistently charged the authorized amount. We get takeout about once a month and the portions are large and the food is tasty. Good Chinese food for a mountain town! Old review follows: Update to say that restaurant management was very responsive and apologetic for the overcharge. That said, keep your receipt and check your credit card charges! This is the third time in a row and since May-2023 where the amount charged to the credit card was higher than what we had authorized. All three times we ordered online for pickup and kept the emailed receipt because experience has taught us that this restaurants seems to add additional amounts to the approved charge (above and beyond the tip that we included in the original charge). Three times in a row! … it can’t be an accident. I called and spoke to management the first time, but afterwards I am just disputing the charge amount through my credit card. All that said, the food is good for Chinese food in a mountain town. We will keep getting takeout, but we will ALWAYS check our charges from China Panda.

The wonton soup is great. The broccoli beef is alright. The general chicken is the bomb.

Excellent versions of standard Americanized Chinese food. Everything we ordered was very good, but the fried potstickers, lemon chicken, and shrimp with vegetables were especially good. The shrimp was succulent and flavorful with a delicious assortment of fresh vegetables cooked perfectly. Attentive service. Pleasant atmosphere. Perfect for families.

We ordered a bunch of dishes. Second time in two weeks. Most were big hits (Shrimp and Lobster dish, Sesame Chicken, Mushu, Fried Rice, Crispy green beans) while some were just OK (spring rolls, dumplings). The food tastes fresh and the prices are good. We’ll definitely return.

Absolutely the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. My wife and I happened upon this gem quite by accident. The crab Rangoon was to die for. The Hunan beef was absolutely sublime in its melange of flavors. Ingredients were fresh, delicious and prepared with subtle nuances of spice the make each dish a delightful experience. We will be back often.

I’m impress; I went with my two grandsons to the Panda after more than a year. They remodeled the restaurant, it looks nice and clean; I love the new lighting, and of course the food always excellent. General’s Chicken and Shrimp Chow Mean are my favorites.
