I am legally blind. I had asked the young man what exactly was in the Mediterranean salad. He opened a menu and threw it across the counter at me. I thanked him for the menu but had also said, im legally blind and can’t see the menu thays is why I asked what was in it. I thanked him for his rudeness and left. Pepperoni with garlick, mozzerella, ricotta & hot honey. Sounds delish right? The hot honey was like oil, it was impossible to eat in the car. Garlic? I used my fork and finger for size comparison… there’s at least 2 full cloves of rough chopped garric, huge peices. Made my eyes burn when i got a mouthfull of that! 1st time at this location, iv’e frequented the Newport one for several years and they’re great! Not a good 1st impression here tho

I placed an order 2 hours in advance (3:30) for a future delivery (5:30 delivery). It arrived 45 minutes late and obviously cold. I called and spoke to a “manager” with a strong Italian accent .. she was of no help and told me there was nothing she could do. Blamed it on poor road conditions when we live only 4 miles away from the restaurant. This could have been avoided had we just been notified in advance of my issues. I would have been happy to pick up the order. Instead, we received cold food and awful customer service. I would not recommend Antonio’s and will no longer order from them unfortunately.
