Came across this place on our way to the outlets. We like to try local unassuming bar/taverns. Little local bar with friendly bartender. Great homemade food, fresh cut fries and xl portions. Try the orange crush drink! Fresh squeezed oj. Made perfectly with orange vodka, triple sec, sprite. Not sweet. Don’t drive by.

The cook obviously can’t respond to the customers orders or doesn’t know that wings on a plate should be drained before adding sauce otherwise you end up w greasy wings and the fries underneath this cheese were cold and greasy too. It seems like they sat around quite a bit before serving us and bacon w burnt. We won’t go back. Staff excellent!

We saw “best food in town”. Reluctantly gave it a shot. The California cheese steak was unbelievable. The buffalo chicken wrap was great. Fries and onion rings were on pont! Bar tenders and staff engaged the whole bar and created a super atmosphere! Just of here, seriously.

I love a good hole in the wall so we left Hersheypark and came here. Great for Sunday football, we didn’t try the wings. Portions were a bit small, 3 chopped and fried spaghetti balls for $10 and 3 mozzarella squares for $10. At least give 4 each. The pork sandwich with Mac n cheese on top was the boxed stuff, not homemade, while the pork had great flavor, it was a super small portion. Fried Shrimp basket was the best thing we had for the price. 8 Big handbreaded shrimp and crispy salty fries. I dislike how so many seafood items and even the wings all say market price but there’s no weekly price on a chalk board or anything so you have to sit and ask each item.
All in all, if I wanted to sit and drink a few beers and talk with friends or watch the game I would go back. I wouldn’t return just to dine here.

So damn delicious! Glad I took Google reviews to heart, and avoided the usual tourist or chain eateries to try the Parkside. Our handsome server was great. Perfectly attentive and welcoming – when we admitted we were first-timers he said “not anymore!” 🙂 The burger I ordered was hot and flavorful, the fries were cooked perfectly, and the Yuengling draft was icy cold. With fair pricing, tasty food, and good service, there’s nothing more to ask for. We’ll happily return when in town next.

The onion rings were amazing! Service was great, was met at the door and our waiter was very attentive. The pit sandwich was dry, couldn’t be sliced even with a knife. Ordered it with AU jus, that was the worst I’ve ever had. It wasn’t a broth of any kind, and tasted like the scrapings of a burned pan. It was overpriced, since we had to pay for the side.
May try another menu item if we return to the area just because of the location and the service!

First time visitors. The owner and bartender were both so friendly and gave great recommendations. The food was hot and came out very quickly. We enjoyed the wings and fresh cut fries. We saw someone order the Philly sandwich and it was huge and full of meat. This place does not disappoint. Highly recommended!

I walked in a stranger. I left having made friends. Staff was welcoming , casual & quick witted. I think it speaks volumes when off duty staff enjoy their workplace & co workers. I met 2 last night. Those that were on duty made the place run like clockwork & everybody seemed to like smiling at each other. I didn’t sample the food but saw some other patrons eating; the plates looked well portioned and smelled delicious.
Everything I saw on menu & on tap was reasonably priced.

My family and I go every single week to see our favorite bartender Mo! She’s always attentive and does a wonderful job! Everytime we come we always get the fried pickles. I only did 4 stars because we noticed they didn’t have them on the menu anymore. We are incredibly sad that are favorite fried pickles appetizer is no longer available. Pls pls pls bring them back. We still will come to visit Mo and eat other things but we get those every single week. We love them so much and hope you bring them back asap!
