I don’t love many places but this place is an exception. Originally in Sausalito on Caledonia, this was my place to go for Japanese. No nonsense, no hype, no fluff. Just really good food made by a really fabulously talented family. Even after moving to Larkspur, they did not change a thing.

This is a wonderful spot to grab some sushi! We stopped in on a Sunday evening and were promptly greeted by the nicest staff. The tables and artwork are really cute
The service was fast and the sushi was great! I highly reccomend the Hamachi Ginger roll, the ginger was perfectly portioned.

We ordered Gobe Maki a la carte (really delicious), tempura veggies (really good), PH suishi, Fukume sushi and Spicy Tuna (all sushi were ok), tofu (delicious) and cheese cake (surprisingly light and very good). They forgot one of our sushi. Overall food was really good. We were surprised the sushi that we ordered was bland. Friendly service.

Small Japanese restaurant. Looks so authentic. We ordered Sashimi dinner and Ton katsu, so delicious. I would not dine during peak hours due to the limited space. Recommended!

Service – 3 at best. With all due respect to older generation working in the restaurant,we waited 30 min at the table until someone will take our order. It was a hassle to get a water, we had to remind about ordered drinks. We had to wait another 30 min for our rolls.
Food- 3. We ordered sushi and portion size was minuscule. Not much flavor difference between rolls.
Atmosphere- 4. Nice, family style and cozy. Bathroom is clean and tidy.
