Really enjoyed my first visit here. Host greeted us warmly and sat us on the patio as requested. The day was chilly but bearable until the wind kicked in and the associates were so attentive and made sure we were warm. They placed heaters on both sides of the table. The old fashioned also helped . Our server was super nice and made great recommendations. Originally was craving some sushi but the weather also called for some egg drop soup. I think it’s a great idea of having 2 kitchens and a shared bar which adds variety to the menu. Both were delicious and the scenery was beautiful. I hope to come back soon to try out more items on the menus

I enjoyed my time here. We sat at the bar on the second floor and the vibe was on point. The drinks were amazingly prepared by the great bartenders. We had a cute city view with the AT&T building and screens outside. It wasn’t too busy for a Saturday night and music was playing in the background. We eventually ordered the mussels, and although they were a bit flavorless to me, the presentation was nice.

Wanted to experience food of acclaimed chef Misty Norris. Went on Thursday at 7pm. The place was very quiet. Got drinks and sat down. Deja Vu cocktail was their take on espresso martini. Pretty good. Things went south from there.

Ordered tomato salad, summer green salad, okra and mushroom side dishes. These were pretty good. Hence the 2 stars.

Ordered main course, had reserved 5 day aged Koji brined fried chicken. Not what I was expecting. The presentation was really good. The chicken was not seasoned properly. The batter had no taste and too hard. The sides were mainly potatoes and greens. Just ok. A major disappointment.

The service was also a let down. We had asked for vegetarian options. Well there are a few, nothing for main course. No bread service, we had to ask for bread. The person filling out water bottle was fantastic. Our server did not know the menu very well.

After this we skipped dessert and asked for check quickly.

Needless to say a disappointing dinner. Vegetarians in our group were left hungry.

We spent around $75 per person and the dinner was not up to the standard.

Had to go through 3 people to get seated. First guy just handed us a menu and walked off, second person I had to go up to and ask if we would sit down anywhere. She said no and looked at the first guy who had just gone downstairs and walked down the stairs to talk to him but didn’t come back up. After a bit of standing at the front a third girl seated us but was very rude.

Our server was slow at first (only 2 other tables in the restaurant) but her service was good.

Food was overpriced and very average. They ruined the oysters with the blueberry and apple. The mushroom and bacon toast is delicious though! The duck fried rice was very average and the duck was so dry and tough. The chicken was very tender.

The ambiance is nice and you get a very nice view but I don’t think I would come again.

You win some and you lose some. I wouldn’t say this place was my favorite but it wasn’t bad. The price in relation to the quality of the food just wasn’t there for me. We ordered the seared Spanish octopus and pork belly. I generally steer clear of octopus, but I’ve had Spanish style that was pretty amazing. I was a little disappointed, it tasted ok but was completely overcooked. The duck fried rice was pretty good but nothing I would write home about. The miso soup was average. We tried the first 3 cocktails on the menu and, first of all… The rebel rebel…. Just no. The hard shake was good and the Audrey Hepburn was alright too, I’m just not a strawberry person. Otherwise, cool location!

The staff was kind and the ambiance was quite nice. The food on the other hand was shocking… We got the duck boudin, potatoes, and embered okra and did not enjoy a single dish. Every flavor in each dish was aggressive and overpowering. I’m not sure how building a menu around fermented flavors can be good, but maybe that’s just me.

Loved the atmosphere of this place! It’s a really great spot to grab some appetizers and drinks and catchup with your friends or your date. They also have different food options, we tried the sushi it was amazing, unfortunately I did not snap a pic of the dish. They have a full bar on the first floor and a second bar on the second floor.

A very Inviting restaurant…plenty of seating out doors. Friendly staff, great atmosphere for just hanging out. Downstairs and upstairs bars open to breezeway. My meal was okay, oysters were small but tasty. Sushi was okay, limited selection. We really enjoyed ourselves. The buildings that surround the restaurant create a nice breezeway and block the sun.

The octopus was very good. French fries are nice and crispy. Bar staff was wil to make about any drink. Big space and cozy dark vibes. Windows open up to the outside with an patio as well.

DO NOT COME HERE… IF YOU WANT THE SAME MENU YOU CAN FIND ANYWHERE ELSE. The menu is familiar but different at the same time. The thought that goes into the details of the facility and also the food is that of a mad man. We never thought we would enjoy beets so much, our parents would be so proud. The Charred Spanish Octopus was a brilliant appetizer that is such a treat to the taste buds. The sushi boat comes with a liquid cooled bottom to maintain the temperature of the sushi until the moment you are going to consume it. The real ground wasabi is transcendent. We were so preoccupied with the flavorsome taste that I know we missed more details which makes my wife and I, want to come back. The cocktails are so well thought out, when you want to find your “new” go to drink, this is the place to go.

The food quality is bar none, right up there with the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. (And if you’re wondering, yes, my wife and I have eaten there several times) Eating here is definitely an experience as the atmosphere is relaxed but yet upscale. The wait staff is extremely attentive, they interject at just the right moments and frequency. We highly recommend taking a seat on the balcony to watch the game on the massive screen across the courtyard.

In summary, the price is on par with an upscale restaurant in Dallas but what you get for is not found anywhere else between the recipe, food quality, presentation and atmosphere. A definite must if you are into quality and something different than the norm.
