I recently tried this new mom-and-pop Nepali spot in the heart of Fairfax, and it is a fantastic addition to the NOVA food scene! If you are looking for quick, authentic flavors, this is a must-visit.
The Highlights:
• Chowmein: Easily some of the best I’ve had in Northern Virginia. It had that perfect “deep wok” smoky aroma, finely cut veggies, and a truly authentic taste.
• Chatpate with Buff Sukuti: This was excellent. It’s the “gilo” (moist) style, which I personally prefer, and the spiciness was spot on.
• Momo: The momos were decent, but the achar was the real star absolutely delicious. Note: The momo filling itself is a bit on the spicier side, so keep that in mind if you’re ordering for toddlers!
The Experience:
While the Timmur Wings were a bit overdone for my taste, the service more than made up for it. The owners are an incredibly lively and kind couple. They are pleasant to talk to, and the service is impressively fast.
The dining space is a bit limited, making it the perfect “to-go” spot for a high-quality, quick dinner. So happy to have this gem in Fairfax
we will definitely be back

We stopped by this Nepali restaurant craving some authentic Nepali flavors and we were not disappointed. We ordered tea, mango lassi, alu chaup, chana chatpat, chowmein, and momo(veg and chicken)—and everything was absolutely delicious. The tea was soothing, the mango lassi was perfectly creamy and refreshing, and the chatpate reminded me of the one we used to eat back home. The chowmein and momo were also very flavorful. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Nepali flavors.

Great new Nepali restaurant. The menu was very unique and looks like they put a lot of thought into making every dish shine on its own. The menu is very simple but food is anything but. Loved the authentic chitwan ko taas, poleko choila and buff momo. Buff momo was the signing dish from the menu. Going to visit again when I am in the area!

The food tastes like proper Nepali home cooking with flavor you usually only get in authentic Nepali kitchen. Every dish was thoughtfully made.
If you like Nepali food, this is it.

This is an amazing place!!! PLEASE do yourself a favor and give them a try. I first tried their chowmein and momos on their opening day, their chowmein was terrific seasoned beautifully and the momo was juicy and thin. I just recently tried their fried rice and they blew me away. Juicy chicken airy rice. This place is an absolute gem. Not only that the owner gave me a drink to go with!!! I didn’t even wait long, it was very average wait time for my food because there were some customer at the table and I ordered take out. Cheap foods but not cheap flavors!!

We just went to Wow Nepal for the first time, and let me tell you—as a big-time foodie, a lover of Nepali food, and a chef myself—the food is so freaking good. I’ve traveled a lot, and I usually go to New York or even Harrisburg to get this level of quality and authentic flavor. I’m honestly so happy this place opened up. It’s only seven minutes from my home, which means I’ll definitely be coming back often. If you’re thinking about trying it, please do—you won’t be disappointed.

Momo, chowmein and chicken were delicious. Top notch service. Would go back just to chat with Nishan; what a great restauranteur to chat with while indulging in quick street food that reminds us of our fond memories of Nepal. We always appreciate a genuine and warm conversation with servers/owners.

Wow! What a lovely surprise. My husband and I stumbled upon this gem on our way to 99 Ranch, and I’m so glad we did. The flavors were incredible – comforting, authentic, and absolutely delicious. We specifically loved the momos, the noodle soup, and the citrus salad. Beyond the food, the value is fantastic. The prices are a total steal for the quality and quantity you get. The two gentlemen waiting on us were incredibly kind, even treating us to milk tea and dessert on the house. Our only complaint is that they aren’t located closer to Arlington! We will definitely be returning.

A relaxing nicely decorated place with friendly staff. The pork thukpa noodle and milk tea that I got are nicely made. I will come back and try other items on the menu
