Friendly staff with tasty food. Their online menu does not match their physical store menu which is why I’m including an image of their physical store menu. Sides are not listed so I included images of their sides. You get a lot of food so don’t eat with your eyes. Would come back again. I went with our group of 5+ people for lunch 5/14 days and had no issues.

The food: Disgusting. Not even close to fresh. A shame to the name of L&L Hawaiian Barbecue.

The soda machine was flat and lacked flavor too. Pepsi? You mean brown water? Mountain Dew? Yellow water.

The service: They were very nice, until we complained. Claimed they couldn’t offer refunds. Didn’t know how to or the machine wouldn’t pet them. They were very surprised when we said this was the worst Hawaiian food ever.

The atmosphere: Half of the restaurant is blocked off. Broken? No clue. Too much effort to clean it? Probably.

I very rarely complain about a restaurant. This one deserves it, unfortunately. A wonderful brand with great memories that didn’t come close to meeting the expectation.

it’s a popular chain, and meant for moving people through. many of the L&L locations I’ve been to has a small counter, this one is set up how you’d have a fast food line, with a few popular items ready to serve.

lots of garlic. very tasty, and lots of garlic.

loco moco is close. A bit more black pepper and 5 spice (i think) than I’d like but still tasty with rice.

Filipina lady is nice and gave us good amount of food that a two person can share in one order. Food was also delicious! I don’t understand with these one star reviews though. I think it’s great price compare the outside base meals. Super filling as well.

Definitely a return customer here!

The food and service was good as usual, the price since the last time I got food here has skyrocketed. I got a mini loco moco and a drink and a masubi and spent almost 25$ the only other complaint I have is that when I got my food it was upside down..

Not the best place I’ve been to. The place reminded me of a Hawaiian panda express except without a good fall back dish like orange chicken. They do give you very good sized portions for the price.

Over priced. Pork is way too salty and there’s an up charge for it 3.50. Beef is an extra $5. Katsu chicken is over cooked and cold. The curry was cold and separated. It only tastes good while you’re starving and there’s no where else to go. This place is definitely not worth the price. Roach coach has better tasting stuff.
If L&L wants to charge premium prices, there needs to be premium food.

The servers were exceptional. But I think the food was there a while because you ever eat something & slowly come to realize u shouldn’t have. Because it becomes a bomb wanting to explode outa u? That’s what happened to me. Guess it was a really slow day & the food was sitting there too long

Not like any other L&L Hawaiian BBQ. I went here around 1:30pm and the beef bbq and chicken bbq we’re over cooked and already hard. Plus there’s a $5 extra charge for the beef. The lady that helped me was friendly. She was cleaning when I arrived, but didn’t changed her gloves when she made my plate.

I really feel for you weekend duty warriors. This is most definitely, hands down the worst L&L I have ever been to. $5 extra if you want beef or shrimp and a few other items. When asked if I was okay with the extra charge, I said no, I’ll just go with the chicken, rice, and Mac salad. The chicken was so overcooked that parts of it could literally cut mooring lines, I’m not kidding. The rice… well… was rice. The Mac salad tasted like it had a hint of cleaning products in it. And, if you are planning on a cold refreshing fountain drink during the hot day, think again. No ice in the ice machine, when I brought it up to the staff they just said “okay”. Dear Naval base 32nd Street, can we please get the rice king back!!! At least you knew what you were getting with them.
