Our first time at Gaslight on Main and we will be back! Heather was an amazing and attentive server. It offered a great environment. The food was fantastic and all looked so delicious so we ended up with 2 appetizers (French onion dumplings – a must order!), a glass of wine, and 2 entrees (Sweet corn risotto – another must order! And the ribeye). Management was also very sweet and attentive.

As a big foodie from California, it was awesome to find this gem in Kernersville. As soon as we saw “French Onion Dumplings” on the menu, we knew we had to make a reservation. And we’re so glad we did! Those dumplings were tasty and the food and cocktails were 5-star. The Brussels sprouts appetizer with dates and goat cheese was the best we’ve ever had. The entrees were to die for and so was the pumpkin crème brûlée – just wow.

We were served by the wonderful Heather and the GM Maja made our experience great with a sampling of Chardonnay. Maja is high energy, warm and welcoming, and really knows her wine!

Our local family will definitely be back, and we hope to visit again from CA soon.

My wife and I came to Kernersville, NC for the first time to check it out, and The Gaslight was the only restaurant we tried, and it was a great pick!

We came in without a reservation for dinner on a Saturday evening, and we were lucky to be seated right away.

We were greeted by a very friendly hostress with a wonderful smile. The entire space and common areas were welcoming, easy to walk in, clean and comfortable. (Side note: This is not one of those restaurats where your clothes end up smelling like food at the end of your experience.). Also, our waitress, Heather, was fantastic! She was professional, friendly and helpful.

This is a restaurant offering New American options, so the menu is not that exotic and has options you’d be familiar with but does offer delicious fusions. We tried the Fried Goat Cheese & Beet Salad, the Sweet Corn Risotto with added chicken, French Onion Dumplings and a seasonal special: Arepas with shaved BBQ meat. For dessert we went for the Pumpkin Crème Brûlée. Everything was delicious!

There is a full bar and the drink menu offers all kinds of cocktails, and a few options of wine and beer. We I tried a coupe of sweet cocktails, and they were great!

Gaslight on Main is in downtown Kernersville, which is about 15 minutes drive time from Winston-Salem. It is located in a cozy and cute strip with other small businesses around. The entire building has a shared free parking lot with quite a few spaces.

Final thought: This is a fantastic and sopisticated place for a date, business meal or a special occasion involving adults; I would not recommend it for families with small children.

Overall, 100% recommended.

My husband & I visited Gaslight for the first time last night, for our wedding anniversary dinner. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was filled with warm ambience. We were seated straight a way (a few min before our reservation) & greeted by Heather, our waitress. She was kind throughout & recommended some of her favorites from the menu, why by the way, did not disappoint. I ordered a duck entree (first time) from the “specials” menu. It arrived with great presentation, & literally melted in my mouth! Thanks Heather, for the fabulous recommendation! Overall, we were so pleased, from start to finish, with our entire experience!!

Also to note, there was a lady, that we later found out was named Maya (manager)…she is a hustler & literally running to make sure very table had everything they needed. I wanted to shout her out because often the managers are overlooked, but she was on it & always had a smile while doing it! Great job, to the entire staff last night! We will be back soon!

Wow! What an incredible dinner we had tonight. If you have not been here yet, you must make it a priority to go. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent. Chef Daniel came out to our table to say hi and that was a nice treat. Maja who is one of the co-owners was so very kindhearted and you can tell she loves what she is doing.
We had the lobster ravioli, ribeye, bread service (amazing) French onion dumplings (wow!), pumpkin crème brûlée, peach cobbler and the perfect wine pairing with our meals.

We came for our wedding anniversary, I made reservations, when I called to confirm my reservations, the women I spoke with promised private dining, a bottle of champagne and dessert on the house, none of these promises were kept. The environment is ok. Small town fancy. I had the Mahi, it was chewy. Husband had the fish and chips, also chewy. The fries were good. We had the apple cobbler and it was tasteless. My husband is a beer drinker, the waitress had no recommendations and brought him a dark lager after he asked for their lightest beer. I had “The Drangonfly Inn” it was ok but not worth $16. Would not recommend.

Very good food and service. We got the meal for two and everything was fantastic. Went for our anniversary and we were given complimentary champagne as well as a happy anniversary card. Will definitely be going back. Food is a little on the pricey side but atmosphere and service is fantastic.

My family was saddened to hear the Prescott had closed. However, we were pleasant surprised that a google search found that a new restaurant, The Gaslight, was in its space. So, as any good gourmands did, we promptly visited. We now have a new favorite restaurant in Kernersville, Winston-Salem, and High Point!

Such a cute spot! Food was great, the Brussels sprouts appetizer is just unbelievable, probably the best Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had. Must try if you’re in Kernersville.
