Just ordered from here and it was some of the worst Chinese food I’ve had. Ordered schezuan chicken, chicken with vegetables, chicken lo mein, and pork egg rolls. Chicken was literally nonexistent in one of them it was all veggies. Both chicken dishes looked and tasted the same. Chicken lo mein was dry and lacking flavor. Pork egg rolls were so dry and flavorless. Literally no chicken and everything tasted bland and dry. So bad I’m never ordering from here again. 50 dollars wasted on horrible food

I went to pick up an order for someone else. I’m not exactly happy with the attitude of the girl at the counter, probably high school or early 20’s. She basically threw the order on the counter, in a very dismissive demeanor, and didn’t even acknowledge or look at me. I don’t really agree with this sort of behavior when you’re running a takeout business. There are much better places to grab Chinese takeout in the area than this one, I guarantee.

I recently ordered the phoenix & dragon meal( with General Tso & spicy shrimp) and it was terrible. The shrimp look like they came out of a can & the general Tao chicken was drowning in what tasted like sweet & sour sauce. To say I was pi$$ed off to pay $18 for this is an understatement. Nothing about this meal was gourmet. The food tasted processed & not fresh or authentic. After this I will never go back again. I went here bc it was close to where I was shopping but I’ll stick to Village Gourmet. The food is 10x better & it’s worth the money.

China Moon is a “New York Style” takeout restaurant that literally looks, feels, and tastes like it was lifted from NYC and placed in Norwalk. The outside and the inside don’t look great, but the food is awesome. The restaurant even has those faded, backlit menu pics, a staple of NYC takeout restaurants.
Compared to other Chinese restaurants, China Moon is definitely on the cheaper side, but the food is “bussin” as the kids say. Order any othe classics like General Tso’s, Sesame, Orange, etc and you will get the desired crispy outside and juicy inside. The soups are great too, and all the food is prepared quickly by the friendly staff. Keep in mind this is NOT your high end, gourmet style place, but if you are craving something quick, cheap and delicious, China Moon is your spot!

I’ve only ordered takeout but it’s been 100% delicious every time. Food arrives hot and tastes fresh. I love the general tso shrimp, my favorite, but have ordered a few other things on occasion. Hasn’t disappointed.

I went and they double charged me and ignored all of the proof of a mistake on their end. They refused to just refund and at that point I wanted a refund for my cold food and had them take it back. They had no type of customer service skills and didn’t attempt to even try to print the proof on their end. Now with their error I have to wait a week to even dispute the charge. I will never go here again based on how I was treated. This is so disappointing.

The woman at the counter is the most miserable, rude, angry person that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Literally yelled at me and slammed my order harshly on the counter. Not the first time she was rude, either. Every single time. I would actually try to drive by to see if it was her working or not. I guess it’s all fine with the place, because I see people have been beefing about her for years. Never going back. I was a steady customer too but I’ve had it with her!!
