The flavor of the food was very good. We ordered the Chapuzon and I was very excited to try it until I saw that they did not devein the shrimps. I was very disappointed that I had to take time to do that instead of enjoying the food. Very disappointed and will not go there again as we were told deveined shrimps are more expensive?? For the price of the plate, the least they could have done is clean the shrimps properly

First time here bc my daughter wanted crab legs, we found them on google. They brought out a salsa that I’ve never seen before, it had fish in it. It wasn’t bad I guess. We ordered snow crab which was about $50 which didn’t come with any sides so it was pricey. It wasn’t nothing special to come back for.

This place is one of those hidden gems that deserves way more attention. From the outside, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but as soon as I walked in, locals who were already eating started telling me about how good the food is. That alone said a lot. Once seated, it was clear how much care goes into everything here, simple, honest Mexican seafood made by people who take pride in what they serve.
I ordered the seafood boil, and it ended up being my favorite thing I tried. The seafood was super fresh, cooked well, but the sauce is what made it stand out. It was packed with so much flavor. I kept going back for more and even started dipping my fries in it.
What really sets this spot apart is the warmth of the owners and staff. You’re treated like a guest, not just another customer, and that kind of hospitality is hard to find these days. The hostess was so sweet and caring.
If you love authentic Mexican seafood and want to support a small, hardworking business, do yourself a favor and come here. This restaurant deserves to be known, talked about, and packed with people who appreciate great food and genuine service. I’m from Ohio but if I lived here I would definitely come back and I hope more people discover it too.

We had been hearing about this place for a while, and finally got to experience it. The food was absolutely wonderful. Full of rich flavor and spice. We had both the seafood soup and shrimp platter. Their in house sauce was the perfect amount of spice with an incredible flavor. The fish ceviche was fresh and perfect (tilapia). Overall we were very impressed with the low key atmosphere and great food. Absolutely we recommend this place!

Food was dry. No flavor. Sauces were made up mixes of bottled Worcestershire sauce and ketchup. Not home-made or authentic. The only item that was tasty was the ceviche but they only give you a very small portion.

Unexpected gem located in a tiny strip mall next to a vape store.
Simple spotless tiny restraunt, specializing in freshly prepared seafood.
Rather than the normal, chips and salsa on arrival, Las Islas greets guests with House made tortillas, saltine crackers and a small delicious ceviche and a delicious firey green sala.
I had an off menu special of marinated seafood that included shrimp, octopus, and scallops along with oysters.
The dish was very accurately described as spicy.
There is a full bar and a very serviceable selection of Mexican brews.
Can’t wait to return and try the balance of the menu.

We stumbled upon this place as a secondary option since our first did not offer dine in. The food was good, cooked well and nice and hot when it arrived. I do think it was overpriced, since everything wasn’t exactly “pulled from the water” fresh. The mixed seafood medley was obviously store bought. Alot of the menu was spicy so there weren’t alot of options for kids or adults who don’t like that. Our server was decent, although she did get very busy once dinner rush started. She was the only one waiting tables AND making drinks, so I commend her for that. My daughter ordered a steak fajita plate but they were out of steak so she settled for chicken. We had to ask twice for some tortillas for her, the kitchen just kept forgetting to warm them up? They definitely weren’t homemade so I’m not sure why it took so long. She was already done eating by the time she got 2 rolled up tortillas. All in all it was an ok dinner but I’m pretty sure we won’t be visiting again.

This place is a hidden gem, in my opinion. I’m a big fan of ceviche, and this place knows how to do it right. But be warned, if you get the Aguachilies Verde, it’s seriously spicy, which is the way I like it, but it really will burn you down. Very friendly staff and excellent consistent service. I will be back.
