What I like about this place is their lunch special. For $10 you can choose from about 20 dishes, that come with fried rice and a soup. During lunch is almost always empty, so if you decide to sit in one of their ten booths, you’ll get some nice quiet time. The food is very good but not 5 star good. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a good lunch special.

I’ve dined here several times and the food is always fresh & pretty delicious. For spicy food people, you can order the dish to suit your preference and they will ACTUALLY spice it up. This is not the norm for kosher Chinese places in my experience.
The place is not beautiful, but there is seating and it is generally pretty clean.
The people that work here are friendly and accommodating.

I recently had lunch here after hearing that they were under new ownership. And I was pleasantly surprised at the changes that they made,. The dish I got definitely tasted much better than I remember. I would definitely recommend people give Chinatown another chance with the new ownership.

Good food, although the chef is fairly new. Also they changed the menu which is a tad more expensive, but still cheaper then any other kosher restaurant in Monsey. In the summer the A.C. isn’t the best, but you can always take it to go…. still my first choice restaurant in my area.

Pretty standard selection of Kosher Chinese food. They have some great specials. Egg drop soup is really good. More of a takeout place so not really too much seating.

Checked menu and ordered sesame chicken and lo mein lunch special which was supposed to be $10. They charged me $37 and gave me separate orders of lo mein and sesame chicken. The lo mein was okay but not worth the money and the chicken was disgusting. I have never had bad chicken anywhere before eating here. Bad customer service. Bad prices. Bad food. Would not recommend.

Food itself was good. I’ve definitely had better. Got the chicken & mixed vegetables, though it was mostly vegetables with a bit of chicken. The place has no heating, and was quite cold.

Updated review: Still the best General Tso’s chicken in the kosher world. I come to NY about once a year and I always make sure to stop by Chinatown for the best General Tso’s chicken.
Original review: The best General Tso’s chicken in the kosher world. The chicken isn’t all filler like most kosher Chinese restaurants. It’s nothing fancy but they got the chicken right and they got the sauce right. My search is over. Enjoy – preferably extra spicy.
