The chicken was under seasoned, the yuca was greasy and the sauces were the worst. Yellow sauce should never be so sweet. It was basically icing. The interior was messy and not professional at all. I wouldn’t return.

The chicken tasted horrible, like it had been reheated. I ordered a 1/4 chicken and the portion was smaller The sauces tasted nasty , and on top of that, the restaurant looked dirty and disorganized. The person who took my order made me feel like they were doing me a favor by selling me their food.

Another hidden gem off the beating path, chicken, frys and rice makes for a tasty meal anytime. The chicken is the best, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Right after lunch is the best time to stop in and grab a bite, the rush is gone and it seems the evenings are busy for take out. Have ate here plenty of times, they never disappoint, same great food for me every time!

Food was good, albeit a little dry. Originally planned to dine in but ended up taking out because the place looked cluttered and dirty. It was dark with boxes and tables shoved in piles.

I was initially excited, hoping for a taste of Peruvian cuisine, but my experience was disappointing. The service was poor, with the order taker appearing miserable and unhelpful. The rotisserie chicken lacked the authentic flavor of Pollo a la Brasa, resembling reheated leftovers served with a subpar salad and fried plantains. My husband’s order of enchiladas turned out to be a letdown as well, resembling strange tacos filled with potato stew and lettuce, lacking any meat. The misleading name of the restaurant added to the disappointment, and the overall cleanliness of the establishment was lacking, making it an unappealing place to dine.

The chicken was REALLY good and very flavorful. White meat on chicken is normally dry but it melted in my mouth with every bite! On the other hand, the rice was bland and I had yuca for the first time so I didn’t know what to expect but I didn’t like it. I’m thinking to be fair that yuca probably is for an acquired taste and texture. I didn’t like the taste or the texture, I did like that it was crunchy! Overall not a bad place but we probably won’t go again only cause we’ve had better.

Amazing rotisserie style chicken. The spices on the skin can skew a bit spicy, but to me, it’s perfect. Nothing to blow your taste buds off; tastefully done. If spice isn’t your thing, just peel off the skin and it’s beautifully moist chicken. Go for the yuccas, they’re so much better than standard french fries.

*edit for 2021* They changed the chicken marinade and it is disappointing. It tasted more like bbq and the skin was darker and less tasty. It wasn’t as salty, juicy, or flavorful as it has been in the past. The prices went up on everything, too. It was $19 instead of $16 for a whole chicken and two sides. Hopefully they fix the chicken and make it worth the increase in price one day.

Every time the best Peruvian lunch spot. The same amount of $$ you’d spend at Chick-fil-A, but local and the flavors are incredible. Mix in the jalapenos with the white sauce and *chef’s kiss*. Put that sauce on everything.

Rice, beans, yucca, chicken, all amazing! It says something that our one year old eats the chicken skin off our plates (if I don’t beat her to it). This is a place we keep returning to, and will continue as long as the doors are open.
