Golden Garden is a great spot for delicious Chinese-Asian food at a very reasonable price. The portions are generous, the flavors are amazing, and everything tastes fresh and comforting. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

Yes so this is really the only Chinese food place in the area. We searched it up and didn’t really plan on Chinese but it sounded good so we stopped. After talking to the folks we found out they used to have a place in our home town of Snow Hill. They moved to Pokamoke City because the Snow Hill area didn’t have enough business to support them. So the first impression was good when we walked in. Typical to the type of establishment. Kitchen open to view behind the counter. This place is clean. It looks clean and that’s important. Very friendly folks too. My wife and I each got a traditional Chinese dish. It was traditionally good. And I was pleasantly surprised with the bill. If you’re in the area and have a craving for Chinese food, check them out.

If i could give zero stars i would. I Used to go here as a kid when we lived in pocomoke and the food was always great. Decided to hit them up for nostalgia mostly but I wish I had never thought to. This food was horrible, the chicken was over cooked and hard and there was so much sauce trying to hide the over cooked chicken that it was spilling everywhere. The rice literally had no flavor and the egg roll was straight up grease, you get a bite of flavorless grease. This was almost $50 dollars wasted. I honeslty have no idea how they have a 3.9 rating. And calling is pointless they dont give a damn about their customers or fixing the mistake. If you want food that has taste and isnt a log of grease do yourself the favor and keep driving past Golden Garden in Pocomoke. Smh its sad because it was a go to growing up in town.

In a town that needs more restaurants this was a sad experience 20° outside and felt the same inside. Ordered the basic shrimp egg foo young it tasted old and stale. The shrimp eggrolls tasted dry and like they were three weeks old definitely not recommend this to anybody.

I’ve eaten takeout from Golden Garden for over 7 years and my parents got it for themselves for even longer than that, so when I tell you “no other Chinese place even comes close,” you can rest assured I mean it.

Food was horrible, the rice was GROSS. I asked for fried rice I got yellow mushy rice. The General chicken DISGUSTING. The egg rolls were filled with grease so bad we couldn’t eat them and the bag they were put in had an inch of grease when I took them out.
The building is FREEZING the woman at the counter was rude. I definitely will not return.
