I’ve eaten 1000’s of Jimmy John’s sandwiches. Started at the original in Charleston IL back in 84. Knew the owner. This location in Radford constantly overcooks their bread. This time it was so hard that I could barely eat a few bites. Was like eating a brick. Called the store and the manager said she wasn’t the one that baked the bread but that she wasn’t going to throw it away, so I guess customers get to deal with it. Go to Blacksburg where they know how to bake the bread.

Just came by the store and ordered a turkey trot with tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, mustard, pickles and of course turkey. I got a mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, mustard and pickle sandwich.
Staff seemed to be a little distracted talking about psychology, WWII, and military ships being shot at.

This place is wonderful. It’s extremely clean and an amazing atmosphere. As soon as I walked in I was treated with a smile and a positive attitude. Definitely made me feel comfortable and welcomed into the establishment. I had some questions and concerns, they were able to respond in a quick and timely manner with a reassuring attitude.. 100% would be back again. I got my food extremely fast as well. Thank you very very much for everything! Wonderful staff and establishment

Food is good and fresh. In my opinion price is higher than it should be. Delivery requested for 2.7 miles from this business. Won’t deliver past a 1 mile radius????…..no wonder it’s “freaky fast” delivery.

Google advertised that they stay open until 1am, however the website and menu states “open now” until 3am. I began calling the store with the number listed on the website at 12:30 to see if they still deliver. I live 2.3 miles from the location, or if not if I could place and order and pick it up. No answer, called again, no answer, called a third time, still no answer. I would like to say for being in a college town having that type of unprofessionalism, or false information on the website has to be damaging for business. I would place an order online but I have no idea what time they close due conflicting info. Which is WHY I called the store to clarify. Absolutely horrible customer service, never have eaten there and now never will based off first impressions. I have 3 kids all about to be teenagers…. that’s a lot of money Subway is going to keep getting from us!!

Having to wait an hour before the food is delivered isn’t an option for me. The last few times I have ordered this has been the case. I am not a fan of cold sandwiches and the only reason to order JJ is for the delivery and how quickly they could get your order to you. Totally disappointed.

The food is good 75% of the time, but they seem to have a hard time taking an order over the phone, and often get it wrong even when you spell it out for them in a manner a 3rd grader could understand! The management is obviously piss poor at this location, because the bread is sometimes hard as a rock, and they NEVER update their website to reflect the true hours of operation. I understand that when most of the students are gone they close earlier, but you would think that from a business standpoint they would know to change the hours online to make the public aware.. I love JJ’s food as a whole, but this location is hit or miss, and they miss far more offten than is acceptable! If you want it done right, try the Christiansburg location, because that store is top notch and you ALWAYS get a good sandwich and better service!

I live 2.3 miles from the store they at first delivered them stopped saying it was too far. I understand catering to the college students but cutting out long time radford residents will hopefully put them out of business in the summer. We that live here are here 365 days a year and that is just bad business catering to those here only during college season. I wish there was a rating below one star. I ask others to boycott them and call their corporate office

If you want enough meat on your sandwich to satisfy your pet birds hunger, look no further. Got a sandwich with one slice of meat on it folded long ways with a ton of lettuce, very unhappy with the amount of meat they put on their sandwiches. Other than that, service was nice and fast.
