Location is now next to the Cinema. Went this past Sunday and they were fairly busy. Drinks were well intentioned — got a matcha and a curious George. Nothing spectacular, but if I wanted to be picky the curious George was WAY too sweet. Bad news is they are nearly $10 each. Bagel was stale and barely had any cream cheese. Bischoff coffee cake was best bart of experience but also a bit slimy and not fresh on that Sunday morning. Bougie trendy decor doesn’t earn your name Brewjee. Nothing elevated at all but certain people in Salinas like to think they bougie so that clientele is strong for their money grab. Staff was pleasant.

I personally love the sugar, shaken espresso with vanilla cold foam I would strongly recommend this if you love espresso, their espresso was super rich and creamy. I love it. I can’t get enough of it compared to other coffee shops this one is the best!! I wish they would sell the expresso separately

Their matcha is pretty good as well, they have one drink that’s a strawberry fresca and omggg !!!!! So gooood !

i’ve been going to brewjee for a long time, ever since i started coming after being at natividad hospital, so this place genuinely means something to me. it’s been somewhere i’ve supported consistently over the years, and i’ve always enjoyed the drinks and the overall vibe. because of that, it’s disappointing to even have to write this review.

recently, at the main street shopping center location (1186 s main st, salinas, ca 93901), the wait times have become extremely long. on multiple occasions, it has taken 20 to almost 30 minutes just to receive a single drink. during my last visit, i noticed one girl who had been waiting for about an hour for her drink. multiple customers were standing around asking about their orders, and it seemed like several drinks were taking anywhere from 30 minutes up to nearly an hour to come out.

i completely understand that businesses get busy, especially during rush hours, and i respect how stressful food service can be. however, when customers are paying premium prices, there should still be efficiency and organization. what made it more frustrating was seeing employees laughing and goofing around while many customers were visibly waiting and checking on their orders. there’s nothing wrong with having a good work environment, but there should also be urgency when people have been waiting that long.

when i’m paying almost $11 for a brown sugar shaken espresso and close to $8 for a piece of bread, i expect the service to match the pricing. i don’t mind paying for quality or supporting a local business, but long and repeated wait times make the experience feel discouraging.

i’m not writing this to attack anyone. i genuinely care about brewjee and want it to succeed, especially since it has meant something to me personally. i hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving wait times and overall customer experience.

This is specifically for the Cosmo & Wanda. Wowwww ☺️ . The matcha and strawberry cream combo is a MUST HAVE. I don’t know even live here but I wish they open up one in the North Bay Area. I would dangerously be in this every day.

Low notes: the place is small and the wait to order is a little long. Would love fresh strawberry options. Also it’s $10+ for a 24 ounce. Definitely wished the pastries were made in house or have the option to get warmed up (just to be fair I don’t know if they do).

High Note: everyone is super friendly, hair up and slick back out of the way so no worries about hair in my drink or food. Once you place the order they prepare my drink fast. Convenient location and I like that they are really branding themselves with swag like shirts and hats.

Happy to come back

Brewjee in Salinas is a new hit. My First sip of the Brown Sugar Shaken espresso was deliciously original; I was impressed. It tasted fresh and way better than any other coffee beverage I’ve had in a while. I did add vanilla cold foam and yum! I ordered a large but I should have got a Medium. The L has 3 shots of espresso and whoa! I couldn’t finish it. Still really good though. Brewjee has potential for being a cool hang out spot but I also see the convenience of the pick up a coffee and go current only option. It’s currently next to an alley in downtown Salinas and very small inside which then may lead to a line of customer outside on really busy days. The staff was really friendly and seemingly eager to answer any questions. They sell pastries, whole milk, seasonal gifts(valentines flower arrangement), and Brewjee merchandise (sweaters, beanies). Cruise on over to downtown Salinas and stop by Brewjee for a unique coffee experience.

Great vibe. Coffee was absolutely delicious, though on the higher end price-wise. Be sure you are clear about your order, as I thought I asked for a low-fat milk and hot, but still enjoyed the cold latte with whole milk. Tried the chocolate cheesecake slice, just not as moist as I was hoping, but still good. Good piano music playing and had a great table by the window to people watch and enjoy the sunset.

Visited @brewjeecoffeeco for the 1st time. It is a bit dark because of the color pallet they chose, but i love peacocks so I didn’t my the emerald tone walls.. There was a bit of a line, but overall it didn’t feel annoying to wait as in order coffee establishment. I always like to ask for recommendations when visiting a new spot, so I inquired to cashier for a redbull recommendation and I received this green drink. It was a redbull with rasberry and apple syrup with lemonade.. My daughter ordered a hot chocolate and pastry. I’m uncertain because of what my sister ordered because i was taking sips and enjoying mine .

P.S They do sell Brewjee apparel for those whom which to support this local small business.

It’s pretty good coffee & their pastries are outstanding!!

They are kinda pricey though..
$17 for 1 drink & 1 pastry plus tip it’s $20+ for 1 person.

There is no place to sit & work.

The staff are very nice!

Today, my mom and I visited this coffee shop as we were on our way to a soccer game & needed a “pick me up”.

Parking was extremely hard to find as it was packed this Sunday afternoon, but we were lucky to find a spot. There was a line, but it did go by fast as we were probably in line for about seven minutes.

I ordered the cookie butter caramel latte, and ordered a vanilla Matcha for my Mom with vanilla cold. We also ordered a cookie butter Cinnamon roll.

First off, I was highly disappointed during the first sip of my iced latte . To my surprise, the coffee tasted nothing like cookie butter, and was very water down. I did order my coffee with oat milk, but I couldn’t even taste the oatmeal either. It was just simply bland. My mom also mentioned to me that her Matcha was extremely strong and not like the other match as she’s had before. Additionally, I only took a bite of the cookie butter Cinnamon roll to which was OK, but I could not simply have any more of it.

I was suprised to have paid $26.10 for 2 drinks (16oz & 20oz) & a pastry. I really wanted to love it as I had seen social media post of this spot, and understand this is a small business, however, it fell very short.

I’m very disappointed in my overall experience, and sad that I almost paid about $30 for 2 drinks and pastries, that were far from drinkable & edible.

(P.S. – Don’t be fooled by the “nice” pictures, you see of the drinks here or on social media. They look nice, but don’t taste great.)

I was visiting my hometown of Salinas and heard great things about Brewjee Coffee. I am so happy I was able to stop by! I tried the Go Bananas and it was so creamy and delicious. My dad was having a hard time deciding, because everything on the menu sounds great. The lady working was so kind and happily assisted in picking a drink he would love. I’m not sure the name of the drink he ordered, but he got a cold brew with vanilla and some sort of strawberry cold foam on top, he absolutely loved it! The customer service here was amazing and everyone was so nice. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon around 1pm and it was quite busy, however the drinks came out quickly. I hope the locals keep this place in business, because it’s a gem! I’d highly recommend stopping by!
