Was so excited to have this location open so close to home! The portions are huge for the money you pay for them. Great flavor all around. My husband and I tried the delux chicken bowl, spring rolls and the bangin shrimp. Love that they are open until 10pm!!!! Will be a regular here no doubt!

I have been here twice. The first time I ordered the hibachi chicken bowl. It was only chicken and rice. I wrongfully thought it came with veggies because it said hibachi but apparently it’s extra. The flavor was good but it was just chicken and white rice. The second time I ordered the deluxe fried rice bowl with both steak and chicken. The steak I asked for medium and it was well done and extremely fatty. They did not give me fried rice as I selected it was all white rice and almost no sauce. I paid the extra two dollars for the veggies which was to include broccoli, onion and zucchini. I receive one piece of broccoli, four pieces of zucchini and maybe ten pieces of onion. It was the worst thing I have eaten in a long time. No flavor, no sauce, no veggies and horrible cooked fatty steak. I even tipped. Very very disappointed and won’t be coming here again.

JimmyZ hibachi portions are great but never once have I not had to get an order corrected of the 6 times i’ve been. They have never been allergy accommodating for the butter on the rice and multiple times cross contaminated my food with specific allergens i cannot eat. This specific instance I paid full bowl price (around $13) for just onions, broccoli and chicken and was extremely dissatisfied with the portion. I was given at-least an entire chopped onion in the bowl and a few scattered pieces of chicken. When I tried to call back it was about 9:50 and they did not pick up the phone. This is the only instance i’ve ever made any sort of review for a restaurant, good or bad. Please do better!

If you’re looking for great sushi, this is not the place. It was very bland and lacked luster. I did try the side of mushrooms and they were great. So I used the leftover juice from the mushrooms to flavor the sushi. Not ideal, but it was better.

Always have a great experience when getting my food here. There have been sometimes where I get one piece of chicken that might be a little rubbery, but never the whole meal. Our orders are usually pretty basic so never had any issues with errors. The wife is always looking for an excuse to get her Jimmyz’s.

I went in to order food. My order was $60 and some change. I tried to pay with $100. They told me they don’t accept $100 bills. And I told them I would never come back because it’s legal tender and I’m so glad that it happened because I found a place that is so much better. If you have not tried it yet, go to Ruben’s hibachi it kills jimmyz and they don’t give you problems with taking your money

I love Jimmyz. It’s truly a Myrtle Beach staple, and their food is amazing. I have been going for years! Their food is so flavorful and always really yummy. I have not been to Jimmyz in a couple of years since I moved to North Carolina, and I miss it so much. I was so happy to see they opened a location over by CCU, which is close to my parents’ house! The inside of this location is gorgeous! It’s also super clean. I got a hibachi soy garlic noodle bowl, regular size, with teriyaki chicken. It was as amazing as I remember! The noodles are cooked to a great consistency, and they are so flavorful. The chicken tastes fresh and light. I usually ask for extra teriyaki sauce, which the workers had no issues giving me. The workers were super nice, and the service was incredible. I hope that this place sticks around, it is an amazing and affordable option for lunch.

The girl at the front was nice! The food was good, I got a rice bowl. I wouldn’t go back because it’s so expensive when you compare it to local hibachi like Jo.
