¡Quiubo! After many years of dreaming about changing careers and owning a restaurant, I finally made it happen. It took moving across the country to do some real soul searching. I missed the bold, authentic flavors of Southwest Mexican food, and although I had no experience in the food industry, I took a leap and opened a breakfast taco trailer, Desayunos Eatery.

Went to Lunas Restaurant tonight and had an amazing experience and meal. The servers were knowledgeable and friendly. The owner was so sweet and came to our table to tell us all about the food, the style of Mexican food she is serving and wanted our honest opinion and feedback.
The food was delicious! We had the steak nachos and fish tacos tonight. The quality and freshness of the food was outstanding. The sazón was on point! Can’t wait to go back soon!

I went for the first time the day before Valentine’s Day and got the 16 taco platter, carne asada fries, honeyrita (perfect simple drink), and churro dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious and the owner Luna was beyond kind and generous with her time explaining the menu and talking about how the food is made. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for quality Mexican cuisine!

Traveled from Austin Texas to visit family in Philly two weeks ago. I am so anxious to go back just to head back to Luna’s Mexican Grill. This charming restaurant in the middle of Swarthmore is a gem. Food is delicious and the service is excellent. The “sazon” in the food took me back to growing up in El Paso, Texas along the border and eating my abuelita’s cooking. Highly recommend the carnitas tacos or fajita tacos. We were so impressed and pleased with the food and service, We ate at Luna’s Mexican Grill three times over a five day stay. Can’t wait to go back!

Love this place! We’ve been here for brunch and dinner and both were fantastic! We had the chicken tinga burrito and fish tacos this time and would recommend both. The tres leches cake was also great. The mixed drinks were just okay.

The mexican hot chocolate tastes like my childhood. Warm and exactly what i needed today. The chips and pico de gallo are fresh and real tasting. Everyone was nice. Highly recommend even for quick stops.

I had a 70th birthday party for my husband and his twin. There were 19 in our party. The experience could not have been better. The owner is absolutely lovely and made our event so special with sombreros and a piñata to break. The restaurant is adorable and very homey. The food was outstanding. As I told the owner I have actually never liked Mexican food. However this was the first time not only did I like it. I loved it. It was just delicious. She personalizes every meal. Thank you so much for making our celebration such a success. We will be back!

Unexpectedly good. Didn’t come here with expectations, just wanted to try them out because I love Mexican and a happy hour. What I got was better than what I would have thought. I had the cheese steak tacos and they were delicious. Flavorful and filling. Rice and beans could be more flavorful, but I was happy with the main item, the tacos. Margaritas are well made as well, they don’t skimp. I will be back for happy hour, 3-6, Tues-Fri!

The perfect location if you enjoy great Mexican food and excellent service! Being of Mexican heritage, I am always hesitant on trying Mexican restaurants. Luna’s didn’t disappoint with the amazing food and staff that made you feel like family.
The birria tacos were flavorful with the consume being just right. The beans and rice made me feel like my mom was cooking. We also ordered carne asada fries and it is now one our favorites. Everything was fresh and done perfectly. The pictures don’t do it justice.
The owner, Christina, introduced herself and welcomed everyone with open arms. She embraces the Swarthmore community and students. We look forward to visiting our son and having many more meals at Luna’s.

I visited Luna’s Mexican Grill on a busy Saturday night when the kitchen was short on staff. Despite the delay, everything tasted fresh and high quality, and it was clear the kitchen put real care into every dish.
Our server Hailey was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and kind throughout the wait. Her attitude made the experience so much better.
