We started going to PopCe’s because I am terribly lazy and did not feel like driving out of Ocean Pines to the other ice cream places we love. Now we choose to go to PopCe’s because we also love it. I have tried quite a few of their flavors now and all have been great. I don’t even like cantaloupe all that much, but I thought their cantaloupe ice cream was actually quite good. Cookies and cream is my favorite, and yes, they use actual chunks of the cookie (my qualifier for the best cookies and cream ice cream). I almost always get a waffle cone because they are good. They also have a platter and that was nice because it came with little waffle cone rounds/chips to eat your ice cream with. Another cool offering is pretzel cones. When one of our friends visited with her dog, she got a cute little pup cup with ice cream, whipped cream, and a dog treat on top. We usually just take our ice cream home, but they do have a couple of outside tables. TLDR; everything here is great, I love it.

I stopped by PopCe’s Ice Cream Shop and tried the coconut cone. It was absolutely amazing! You can truly taste the difference in their all-natural ingredients. The coconut flavor was rich, creamy, and so refreshing without being too sweet. It’s clear they put love into their recipes. Great vibe, friendly service, and a must-visit spot if you appreciate high-quality, natural ice cream. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors!

In the spirit of giving a 100% honest review, they did mess up my order (I didn’t even bring it to their attention. I’m certain they would have fixed it though) HOWEVER the two people working there were great. An older guy and a younger kid. The ice cream was delicious and my kids loved it. I would go back again without hesitation. Seems like a good/honest run business.

This kid can not get enough of PopCe’s. While he loves himself some cookie dough ice cream, he is obsessed with the dark chocolate kiddie cup! The staff are always so nice and the prices are very affordable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a tasty treat!

Sadly, though we’d heard glowing reviews, we were not fans. The dairy free options seemed to use banana and coconut oil heavily, which was unexpected for the flavors we ordered. Had this been advertised, we wouldn’t have gotten those flavors. I got mango, which coconut and banana could pair with easily, but it was so coconut flavored that it threw everything off. Mine also had chunks of what I believe to be frozen coconut oil, which made it impossible to enjoy, and I threw it away after only a few small bites (that all had those dry, crumbly cocnut oil clusters). My wife threw hers away, too, unfortunately (I forget which flavor she ordered, but it was a non dairy flavor as well). Neither kid liked their flavors of regular ice cream, either. They were really bummed because we’d heard such good things. Maybe we went on a bad day? Hard to say, though, when all 4 flavors weren’t good.

PopCe’s is a must have while in Ocean Pines. My family always gets a delicious ice cream when we visit and they never disappoint! Quality ice cream and great service.
