A good low key breakfast spot. It’s a bit dark, but it gives a nostalgic old school family vibe in there. Food came out fairly quick, everything was good. My server was super cute and quick about getting my order and checking on me. Thank you, Anna!

The waffle,eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. Malted waffle with actual warm maple syrup. The atmosphere is basic dineresque. Pam, my waitress left a lot to be desired. She took good care of what you could tell were regulars. Me, not so much. I was done eating and well out of coffee before she came back by my table. Saw her at the back eating. She asked me then if I needed coffee. As I said, I was already done and had stacked my plates and it was still another 8 minutes before she brought my ticket. Please do better for all customers, not just regulars.

SO GOOD!! A breakfast place in Concord with a FULL BREAKFAST MENU! Breakfast sandwiches, platters and burritos as well as pancakes, waffles and crepes! We enjoyed one of each this morning and man are we happily stuffed to the brim! Fast and friendly service! Plenty of seats in this large restaurant and lots of parking out front! Highly recommend for solo visits, family gatherings, or just a normal breakfast for two! Give this place a go!

Was not happy here today and this was my quick go to breakfast restaurant
I ask for a veggie omelette with no mushrooms. The cook put mushrooms in it. On her way to bring me my food she saw the mushrooms in it ask me do I want it or she take it back. Now it’s a good thing I was not allergic to them but if she saw them in it on her way to me she should have never gave me the plate and told me there is a delay and it be out soon. I did not send it back bc I done believe in sending food back and come back with all type of extra stuff that don’t belong.
Now as we were done eating and getting up the other lady would not give us time to get out the seat before she took our plate. We felt rushed. I top of of that o had to wipe the table off again when we sat down. Well I won’t be back and they make great French toast. Another one bite the dust.

On January 3, 2026, my husband and I visited this restaurant in Concord, North Carolina.
We were seated promptly, but for over 20 minutes, we were never acknowledged—no greeting, no drink order, no service—despite:
• The restaurant not being busy
• Multiple waitresses and hostesses present
• Other (non-Black) patrons being seated after us and receiving immediate service
• Repeated attempts on our part to politely signal for assistance
Staff members looked directly at us, rolled their eyes or turned their backs whispering to one another, and walked past our table. It felt as if we were not supposed to be there.
We ultimately chose to leave quietly. When we informed the host staff that we understood we were not welcome, there was no denial or clarification.
This review reflects our direct experience. We share it so others—especially families of color—can make informed decisions about where they spend their time and money.
Respect and basic service should not be conditional.

This place is quickly becoming one of my families, favorite breakfast locations. They can hold large parties down to a table of one. When we go, we usually have eight adults and two children, and it’s plenty room at the table. I’ve had their breakfast (the croissant French toast is a must) as well as their lunch items, and they’ve all been great. You may have a little weight, but I think it’s because of the size of our party every time that we go.

Okay, I know it can feel like every breakfast spot is the same, but this one is definitely different. The food just hits right—grits, home fries, corn beef hash, my kids even said the waffles tastes like funnel cake alittle bit ..everything tastes way better than anywhere else for some reason. Even their entrees, Italian dishes, and soups are really good. And if you eat in, they even serve mimosas early in the morning! Honestly, if you try this place, you won’t be disappointed.
