We had lunch here today. Waitress was good along with food. The only suggestion would be she offered shredded or grilled chicken. Didn’t mention that grilled was an extra charge.
Also peach tea had an additional charge. I would have just gotten sweet tea and shredded chicken and save $3.00. Please tell your staff to do a better job of explaining cost etc so that customers are not surprised when they get the bill. We can make the decision to pay more or not!

The restaurant was clean and had plenty of parking, which was very convenient. Overall the food was good, but the quesadilla with pita bread was a bit bland. On the other hand, the melted cheese was my favorite part.

Delicious food! Margaritas a little watery/weak but the queso and food was very good. We look forward to coming back.

Karen was an excellent server (maybe the best we have ever experienced). She consistently went above and beyond with our family. She showcased her family’s recipes with pride. We were pleasantly surprised with the decor, cleanliness, and food selections. Although the restaurant is a distance from this location, we will be back! Five stars across the board!

Honestly, so mid. I wanted to love it but I didn’t! We got the sampler platter, chips and queso, fajita burrito with steak, and a non alcoholic Piña Colada.
The chips with queso and one of the quesadillas were good, the only items I would order again. One of the sampler platters came out, and the quesadilla wasn’t cooked properly, and the cheese was not even fully melted. The second platter was cooked properly.
I tried items with the steak, chicken, and ground beef in it. The only one with flavor was the ground beef on the nachos. Everything else had no flavor. My fajita burrito (which was $18) ended up being so oily it was sopping out onto the plate while I was eating it, making a puddle of oil. The oil had more flavor than the steak itself. It was not well seasoned. Having refried beans and Mexican rice were also lacking any flavor and seasoning. It looked pretty but tasted like just plain rice. The chicken in the fried sampler also had no spices and just tasted like fried tortilla.
The Virgin Piña Colata was good, but not worth $8.
Our table was a party of 4, and they only gave us one tiny bowl of tortilla chips to begin. They also only brought us one more small bowl of tortilla chips when bringing out the queso. I asked for more but had to keep calling them over as my queso got cold. We did go on a Friday night, and they were busy. However, a lot of the staff did not seem to care or check in on us. They were just standing off to the side, yapping when we had asked for refills or different items and never received them. I had to keep going to the bar just to get drinks.
At the end of the meal, there’s a 3% fee for any card purchase (who does that anymore?) Plus, the server stands directly over your shoulder as you give your tip (paying on a little tablet). I also clicked for the option of printed receipt and never received that copy.
I was so excited about trying this place but was seriously underwhelmed. Overpriced for the quality of food I received.

Excellent little place tucked away in a strip mall. Reasonable prices and excellent hot/fresh food. Recommend the fajitas for two!! Will be back!

After 45 minutes of ridiculous school traffic, we finally ended up here. We saw they had $3 draft beers, and the menu looked intriguing. The place was dead because of school starting, and it was also a Monday. We didn’t care and sat at the bar. The young lady who served us was very sweet and professional. I ordered the fish tacos grilled, and my fiance ordered the chicken enchiladas. We both were blown away with the flavor. I was sad because they did not offer black beans, but I skipped that and filled up on the amazing tacos! The rice had a different flavor, but it was still good to eat. Our ticket was less than $50, and we were satisfied more than I could have imagined. We definitely will be back again. Just be sure to leave before 2 pm or after 5 pm if you live in the Windermere / Winter Garden area.

Tacos and Tequila is a restaurant with tasty options. For a nonalcoholic choice, I suggest the refreshing sparkling Sangria. It’s fruity and enjoyable. They also have smooth house margaritas. The queso and salsa were delectable. However, the guacamole, for me, was extremely heavy on the onions. The Birria Queso Tacos were superb. Undecided for which shrimp tacos to order, the server suggested Tacos Gobernador. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. I added lettuce and tomatoes for extra flavor. The pork tamales were appetizing. Our server was attentive and provided suggestions. If you’re in the area for authentic Mexican, it’s worth a visit.

The food was delicious and the service was on point. Our server was Jessuel and he was great, very attentive and awesome recommendation by him since it was our first time there. The food portions were fair and the drinks tasted very good but could have been a bit stronger especially for the price. The drinks and food are a bit pricey considering this is not a tourist area. But overall very good place.
