If you’re looking for a legitimate local place to taste some fresh, delicious, and tasty fish based poke, this place is definitely the go to When visiting Oahu, Hawaii my friends and I went to this place multiple times after long strenuous hikes or even trying to get a nice hefty meal. Just look at my photos, I devoured my plate before they even had a chance to touch it. 10/10 would recommend again and again and again.

Great food. Some of the freshest poké I’ve had in Hawaii. Owner is quite nice and showed us hospitality during our dine in. Highly recommended stop for poké. Will be back soon!

High quality of Poke and made fresh daily. A little higher of price than what I’m used to at over $30 per pound. I tried 1/4 lb of every available Tuna Poke and ate every bit. There are some cooked options available that I will return for. Not much room to eat inside, but perfect for take out and ready fast.

The garlic poke was my favorite with large consistent chunks, zero striations and seemed to be a different tuna or cut than the Hawaiian Salt poke. The spicy big eye Tuna was on point as well.

They’re not kidding. The fish is very fresh and the poke appears freshly made throughout the day. My husband is a bit particular about the fishy smell with some poke but did not feel Poke by the Pound smelled fishy at all.

On our first try, we each got the poke bowl with 2 options so we were able to try the tako, limu, and spicy ahi. We also had a side of the ahi belly. The second time we bought a shoyu poke bowl, and got garlic and spicy ahi by the pound.

I love poke and have it every day when in Hawaii. I feel their fish and poke is much more fresh than others I have tried on the island. Flavors are a great balance (for each poke we tried)-not heavy and not overwhelming, which is quite satisfying.

I felt their poke is good the way it’s made, but there are shakers with furikake, sea salt, and red chili peppers (?) by the register to add if desired. They also sell gingah spread, which I will try next time.

We were both also pretty impressed with the ahi belly. Great flavor and buttery belly (not a heavy buttery feel). Meat not overcooked and still tender. I’m usually dissatisfied with cooked fish but I really enjoyed the ahi belly and will definitely have this again.

I felt the price was appropriate for the quality and freshness.

We came here twice (once around 11:30a and another day around 3:30p) and found parking (free) in the attached parking lot immediately. Establishment was clean. Service was quick and friendly. Downside is that my standard for good poke is now higher.

I’ll be recommending this to my friends and also coming back!

Love poke, this place was good but price was high. Location right off main route, parking a bit of challenge. Da Creeper was tasty and spicy. Service was helpful and COVID-19 protocols were being followed. Nice selection of poke and fresh.

This is mostly a take out joint. They have a few window seats available. The poke here is so good. I highly recommend the garlic ahi. There is parking to the side of the entrance which off of the lot which runs parallel to Nimitz hwy. The service is friendly and fast.

Really tasty and fresh poke, a bit on the pricey side for the volume you get, but then again may just be the going rate nowadays. The shoyu onion poke and spicy poke were ono, and the limu and garlic were great too. They got no furikake on da rice though!
