Food was innovative and different. The cocktails aswell. One of the best dinners I’ve had in long time. Fresh pasta, cultural infused, innovative food that tastes fresh and prepared with intention.

Exceptional menu and experience! I’ve been here a hand full of times and even brought my best friend the last time. We love the taco board and the ceviche. The new desserts also never disappoint.

Looking forward to trying their new lunch offerings this weekend! For the bar, it’s so nice to see a program that has something for everyone, including curated Mocktails. The environment is cozy and elevated..perfect for a small private event. Highly recommend this spot!

We love this place. Think unique Pub-chic.
And while the food menu is an epicurean delight with a well thought out and adventurous plight that we also recommend greatly, there’s a bartender here churning out pure mixololgist decadence. There are people that make drinks, and then there’s humans like this that love their craft so much you can taste the love in every sip.
This isn’t a place to just grab a bite and a drink and go, this is where you go for the emersive experience with fellow gourmonds and a lose a day to enjoying the best things in life: great food, drinks and friends.

Such an amazing find, honestly wouldn’t have checked it out or even stumbled on it without my sugar dropping so low my friend freaked out and asked them for lemonade. The bar tender, who was super sweet by the way (sorry I can’t remember your name my brain wasn’t fully functioning!) gave the lemonade free of charge (once again so dang kind we offered to pay but he wouldn’t accept it) and then he showed us the menus.

when I tell you this place had like the coolest looking drinks I was so sad we had paid tickets to an exhibit, so we didn’t have a chance to sample the actual bar. We did buy some bread before we left (which we devoured before I could take a picture as it was so freaking tasty). Have plans to visit again before I leave back to Canada since the experience with customer service was so welcoming and the bread will be haunting my dreams all the way back across the boarder.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Liquor Pig recently, and it totally exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was just right — stylish and intimate, with a great mix of cozy and energetic. It felt like the kind of place you could bring a date, meet friends for drinks, or just treat yourself to a really good meal.

The food? Creative, flavorful, and clearly made with a lot of care. I loved that the menu is built around shareable dishes — it made the experience feel more social and gave us the chance to try a bit of everything. Every bite felt intentional, and I especially appreciated the seasonal touches and bold flavors. You can tell the chef is doing something special here. Highly recommend the bread, grilled zucchini, shakshouka, and ALL of the desserts!

Drinks were on another level. The cocktail program is thoughtful and fun — I had one called “Meet Me There”. Love the flavors of grapefruit & rosemary-incredibly refreshing. The staff knew their stuff too — our server made great recommendations and had the perfect balance of attentiveness and chill.

Overall, Liquor Pig feels like a place that’s truly dialed in — from the food and drinks to the ambiance and service. The owners and general manager were attentive and very personable! Scottsdale has plenty of good spots, but this one is unique and stands out with its intentive menu, top-tier cocktails, and a vibe that feels both elevated and effortlessly cool. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Cool cocktail bar vibe, amazing service, out of this world food! Jacob is a fantastic server who understands hospitality on another level. Everything we tried was outstanding. Great spot for a celebration, but also for a killer drink and bite.

We travel to Phoenix every year and like to try new restaurants. We booked Liquor Pig based on the online menu and information on the website which made us believe it was a restaurant.

We were surprised to find out that it is a bar with a few hightop tables located in a backstreet in Old Town Scottsdale next to a carpark.

The website is totally misleading. This a bar that charges from $17 to $26 for cocktails. Ok, the spam jar is a quirky gimmick but for the price that is all it is. The food is tapas sized but you are charged a full entree sized price. The first time we realised that the food was tapas was on the paper menu where ‘small plates’ is written. I expect we weren’t the first to be deceived by this sleight of hand.

The halibut was tasty but $31 for 4 mouthfuls and $24 For 4 mouthfuls of uninspirational pork belly is farcical. We didn’t stay for the $13 dessert which was not doubt also a small plate.

If you don’t want to waste your money and leave hungry choose one of the many luxury resorts or high end restaurants in the area where you will get better value food, drinks and ambiance.

After abandoning an overly loud upscale bar in Scottsdale in search of a somewhat more auditorally tame alternative, we stopped at Liquor Pig. There’s a real practical and meaningful story behind the bar’s name, so skip the negative that can arise from not knowing the story.

Call this a Scottsdale neighborhood bar with an upscale undertone. It feels warm and inviting – which is the value you want to feel comfortable in what seem like familiar surroundings. Don’t underestimate the value of a patient bartender. My SO and I closed the bar by taking our time with cocktails and diving into a serious and significant conversation that needed runway to get through. Kudos to the high EQ score bartender who gave us the space to finish. And to his straightforward explanation of the specialty cocktails we were exploring.

You’re going to like the cocktail menu. You should. It’s designed and prepared to be approachable, attractive, and a little organic. You’ll know what you’re ordering and you’ll understand what are you going to experience. Trust me…I know the approach because I helped a company you’d know well use the approach to reinvigorate a dying food category. Proof that good ideas have legs.

And don’t forget: You can still hear yourself think and have add intimate conversation with music competing with your sanity. Bottom line: 3.2 miles from home makes this MY favorite neighborhood bar. The dinner menu looks real promising. I’ll figure it out because I’ll be heading back.
