I am pleasantly surprised by the news that there is an Indian restaurant with adequate hall size to organize small to medium size gatherings in and around Davis. I attended a birthday party here a couple of weeks back. The ambiance was good, and the food was delicious. I revisited the place to check out other items. My favorites were the South Indian dosas, samosas, and the desi-style samosa chat. The chef was kind to adjust the spiciness as per our taste buds. The restaurant has more dishes to serve than the ones listed in the menu brochure. Just talk to the restaurant owner and find out what additional options are available.
And most importantly, the price is low, and the portions are plentiful. The owner told me they deliver to Davis through Doordash and other online food delivery services like Uber Eats. They are also open for catering services, it seems. I wish this restaurant had opened much earlier.

My husband had the chicken Tikka masala and I had the butter chicken. We shared the garlic Naan, everything was absolutely amazing! The only thing I wish was different, was I wanted more . Definitely worth the stop! We also chatted with the owner and he was very kind! If I was a local, I’d be eating here often

This is a nice little shop with a very nice man running it. I came in for lunch and had the chicken tiki masala with basmati rice and garlic naan.
The food is good. It’s not my favorite but it’s good. The tiki masala is a little tomato-y than I prefer, I had this thought that Campbell tomato soup was the base for it. Also the chicken tastes a little bland, I suspect it is heated up in a microwave then chopped up and quickly mixed into the curry.
The naan is the star and truly delightful though – light, airy, fluffy and slightly chewy. A lot of garlic naan suffers from getting slightly burnt and ends up bitter and that is not a problem here at all.
The owner is really quiet, nice, respectful, he runs a nice joint.
Th A/C is a bit low for a hot day but it’s not too bad.

I believe this restaurant is fairly new but glad I found this spot!
I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo, Veggie Samoas and Garlic Naan. I ordered it spicy and it’s a good level of heat, full of flavor and delicious.
Garlic Naan is tasty on its own but with the curry it’s even more amazing.
The Veggie Samosas are great, love the sauces that the samosas came with!
Owner is very nice and welcoming! The restaurant is very clean and has a very nice, relaxing atmosphere. They got plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options!
I will definitely come here again soon since they have many different types of curry that I am excited to try!

I work as an event coordinator for UC, and SS Currey has become one of our best and most reliable catering services! They are the best option for our vegan, gluten free, and dairy free clients. SS Currey delivers to our events in Davis, on time and friendly always. The clients always ask for Tupperware to take food home lol

The staff is always so friendly, consistently serving with a smile and happy to answer questions. The food is absolutely fantastic both in taste and quantity. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and the kadai chicken this time and previously we ordered the chicken vindaloo and onion pakoda. It has all been delicious and will definitely keep us coming back. The atmosphere is clean and easily accessible with plentiful parking. They also have online ordering which makes things super convenient.

This place is amazing. I’m vegetarian and this place had all my favorites.. The saga planner, samosas and naan were great.
My friend would make me food weekly and then she moved out of CA . I haven’t had decent Indian food since.. Until tonight.
Not too mention it’s about half the price of other Indian restaurants.

This place is great! The atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really Friendly I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in SS Currey Express. The meals served rapidly and the rates were reasonable. Highly recommended.

This is a newly opened Indian Cuisine restaurant opened right next to the Walmart Supercenter in Dixon.
This is one of the very good restaurants in Dixon and Davis. The menu spread is huge and the prices are very competitive. I have tasted several dishes in the last 2 weeks. My favourite is the Vada Pav served with green chillies. I also liked the vegetable biryani.
Keep in mind that there is no serving offered in the restaurant. It’s all delivered in To Go boxes but you can have it there in the restaurant.
You can also order the dishes via doordash for a minimal fee, very useful for people living in Davis.
