Very good experience in Captain Jack’s. First of all, the location is great on a nice inlet/pond. Amazing sunset view right outside the restaurant and also from windows of the restaurant.
The food is mostly seafood based. They have a few unique things. I took the clam chowder which was very very good. It’s creamy but not too heavy. Then, I got the Mahi Reuben which was good portion and pretty tasty.
Overall I enjoyed it and probably will be back soon.

Absolutely amazing experience at Captain Jack’s On The Coast! We had the captain’s slaw, zucchini corn fritters, and the fried flounder sandwich — every bite was delicious. The flounder was perfectly crispy and fresh, and those fritters were next-level. Great vibes, friendly service, and food that hits the spot. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice atmosphere, offering nice views. Good service and good food. Portion size a little small for the price. Staff very attentive almost too attentive. Barely finished the meal and they took the plates away!

Best New England Clam Chowder on the island, for sure! The chicken and waffle dish was phenomenal. You don’t even need a knife

Perfect portion sizes for everything. All the food came out pretty fast. We sat at the bar and were served by Jaime who was excellent. Definitely my new favorite local spot! Great job Mike and all the staff

THE BEST New England clam chowder I’ve EVER had. Hands down. My parents had the Peach & Goat Cheese salad with Chicken and loved it. I had the Mahi Reuben and it was delicious as well! The fries were delightful, normally I skip them, not this time! Kudos to the chef!

Had a great dining experience at Jack’s! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The menu has lots of great options to choose from and the food was amazing. The view of the water was a highlight as well. Highly recommend!

Great place for kids and simple fare for them. But for adults the food was absolutely inedible – at an unbelievable level too. (Ordered the stuffed flounder) and had to send it back – next level gross. Even the water glass had an aroma of cigarettes. However the weight staff was fantastic and very accommodating to both my kids and myself.

We live in Germany and are regularly in Belgium. But what we have seen here and there is the combination of chicken and waffles! We had to come to Captain Jack for that – you guys are crazy! Absolutely stunningly delicious!
The other dishes were also of great quality, the service (Jack) courteous and attentive. All in all, a wonderful birthday dinner – a thousand thanks to everyone!

Great vibes and excellent place to bring kids. Just a very positive family friendly restaurant but also with good drinks and food for adults.
