Terrible service and bland food.

We called in last night to order takeout. The person on the phone was very rude and seemed rather bothered that I was calling to order. We got shrimp eggrolls, crab Rangoon, shrimp lo mein, vegetable fried rice and spicy jumbo shrimp. When I walked in to the building to pick up I was welcomed with someone screaming really loud. I couldn’t see them because the front counter is tucked away from the entry door & I couldn’t make out what he was saying but it startled me for sure. At the counter a lady greeted me with my food which was about the only nice part of the experience.

The food was cold. My shrimp eggrolls rolls had pork in them and we don’t eat meat. I looked for an itemized receipt in the bag to see if we paid for shrimp or regular eggrolls but there wasn’t one. All the food besides the spicy jumbo shrimp was super bland and no amount of soy sauce could save it.

We don’t often eat out when we’re at the lakehouse as we prefer to grill there but sometimes it’s a nice treat. This was not.

Most nastiest chimes food I ever had. Pretty shameful the Chinese dude dose not even know his manu at all. Very rude and cheap on the heat had no heat. Men for 65 dollars itlease . The food should have not been cold. These people do not know how cook and the foods tasted like a week old. Not worth the money. At all

Easily the best Chinese food that I’ve had since moving here… The portion sizes are amazing!!All of the vegetables you can tell are fresh too. They were clean, quick, and with good food. I much rather drive here instead of any place in Rochester again. Definitely coming back

Delicious food! The Pu pu platter is my favorite as it always hits every craving. Huge fan of the General Tso’s chicken, orange chicken and beef lo mein.

Great family-run place with quick, accurate service and generous portions.

It’s not easy to find a Chinese restaurant who will serve me with my shellfish allergy. Both times I’ve ordered takeout, they said it was safe, and it was. Thanks

Went there today with my husband. The food was piping hot and very good. Only downfall was the broccoli should of not had so much stem. Spent about 20 bucks and still had some to come home with. Will go here again. Place was clean as well as the bathroom.

New China Pond Restaurant was highly recommended to my nephew, who manages a business, by one of his customers. We decided to try it out based on that strong recommendation. As a chef (not Chinese, but skilled in preparing Chinese cuisine), I expected a better experience. Unfortunately, the food was absolutely terrible. I picked up three different family orders, and none of us could eat the food; it was disappointing that no one had anything positive to say about it. While the staff were personable and polite, that’s the only positive aspect of our visit. This was, without a doubt, the worst Chinese food we have ever had! Plenty of parking as no one was there at dinner time and that should have been my 1st clue!

Great food today may 12 2022 is opening day so they are super busy, had to wait a long time but that should get better. The food is very tasty and worth getting. I would recommend trying it.

Great chinese food, meals always have crisp fresh vegetables, and if you request spicy its mildly hot.

My family and I came up from Massachusetts (Lowell area) to camp. One day was rainy and we couldn’t BBQ outside, so we thought we’d try China Pond. We got the two Pu Pu Platers for 2, chop suey, chow mein, beef teriyaki and fried shrimp. This restaurant has easily the best Chinese food we have eaten in a very long time. Service was quick, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was extremely clean, as wise the bathroom. If we decide to go camping in Milton again next year. We will definitely come back.
