We were in Kenmare for a golf competition for the weekend and used the Restaurant on both the Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday there were a lot of teams and the wait time was excessive but understood why( just to clarify the excessive wait time was in the restaurant not the golf course) Unfortunately when we got the food it was below par. I had fish and chips the fish portion was small but very oily and not very tasty. The chips were cold. On the Sunday we were there for Lunch and ordered Mushroom soup. Unfortunately it was totally inedible as it was laced with garlic. It was so strong we could smell it as it came to our table, there was no flavor of mushroom from the soup. The service was just ok but the views were incredible. My advice very good for Golf but avoid the Restaurant and head to Kenmare for food.

The restaurant has a beautiful, new contemporary interior and stunning views from the windows or when eating outside, (unparalleled for a restaurant in the locality).
We found the food excellent, as it was the last time, very tasty and good value for money and the service professional & proficient
