I tried May’s bakery in AP for the 1st time this month. I was getting a cake for my great nephew 15th birthday, he wanted a yellow cake with fresh fruit filling. It was 4 layers with fresh fruit between each layer and fresh fruit on the top. He said it was the best cake he ever had. In fact his father text me and said “That cake was INSANELY GOOD “.Followed by a picture showing it was almost gone.

Color of the writing is wrong. I am very unhappy. This cake was to celebrate a heavenly bday for my beloved Mother who passed away from ovarian cancer. I personally went into the bakery to order it many weeks in advance. I was specific about the color for the writing. To the point i spoke to the lady at the counter AND the owner who came out of the back. I googled photos and showed her the ribbon color. Its supposed to be aqua. She made it green. Like st pattys day green. I said it was the wrong color when i picked it up and the lady at the counter said “i think it looks beautiful” well thats nice for her, but my Grandma didn’t like it at all. I prepaid for the cake and wish i hadn’t because i wouldn’t have paid for it at pick up. I don’t understand how they can mess up the most important detail of the cake and tell you THEY think its fine. I won’t go back. My Grams don’t even want a piece of this cake. I’m sad. Real sad.

I absolutely love May’s bakery (formerly sweet tooth). The previous bakery was always the family go-to for every family function! I’m so happy that May’s uses their recipe and reopened! We were at a bitlrthday party and ate cake, we were blown away by not only the design and look of the cake, but the flavor… fast forward a few weeks and we needed a cake for my son’s 5th Birthday. May’s KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! My wife dropped off a few decorations for the cake, and they took it from there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
