I came because of the high rating and was disappointed. They didn’t have the appetizer I wanted, they didn’t have cream for the Thai tea, they didn’t have ice cream for the fried ice cream. The pad Thai was pretty tasty but the ginger dish was not good at all. The fried tofu (tempura) wasn’t good at all. It was a big block of tofu for in a bland batter. The tofu had no flavor at all. Usually fried tofu comes in little tiny blocks because tofu is generally flavorless on its own. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and while the tea was good, the lemonade was bland and not tasty…. no lemon flavor. The worst part is I ordered sticky rice and the waitress didn’t put the order in and by the time we were done eating, the kitchen was closed. Just overall was not a great experience and I would not recommend this restaurant and definitely will never return.

Great restaurant. It’s small with a 55 person max cap and stays busy.average food cost is $15 to 20 a roll or meal. The portion size is huge and honestly it has more sushi fish than most restaurants. I like the Stetson. Service is great but can take a minute depending on how busy they are. We go every couple months and have not been let down yet. Multiple gluten free options including Gluten Free Soy Sauce.l but ne sure to mention it and the chef will make changes as needed. We had 5 rols and an app for about $100 and it was totally worth it.

Pretty good, but not incredible Thai fusion restaurant. Meal started with a side salad with peanut dressing. The dressing tasted good, but was a bit watery. If it had thicker consistency it would have been great. Next was the onion soup, which was decent. A bit bland and not much substance. Next was the tom kha kai which was extremely bright (lots of kaffir lime), I would say it was too bright, almost puckeringly sour. Could have used more coconut milk, not just to thicken it, but to cut some of that tartness. Last was the chirashi tuna bowl, and that was definitely the highlight of the meal! Looked quite attractive and everything tasted good, though I do think the tuna was a little bit too cold, sushi is always better somewhere between cool and room temp, and this was fridge cold. Also a bit on the pricey end of the spectrum, especially for Volusia County. I’ve had better and cheaper sushi meals in Orlando.

This was the 2nd time I’ve been to this restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive. I have a gluten allergy and the server was knowledgeable and ensured I modified my roll without anything with gluten in it. The spicy edamame was excellent too. By far the freshest and best tasting sushi I have had since moving to Florida!

We decided to try Oudom Thai and Sushi, and it was such a great choice! The vibe is relaxed and welcoming—perfect for a laid-back night out.
I went for a couple of sushi rolls, and they were super fresh with just the right balance of flavors. My wife ordered a classic Thai dish (Pad Thai, of course!) and it was spot-on—savory, slightly sweet, and packed with flavor. We shared some spring rolls to start, and they were crispy and delicious.
Service was awesome—friendly, quick, and really helpful with recommendations. Everything came out beautifully plated and tasted even better than it looked.
If you’re craving authentic Thai dishes AND fresh sushi in one spot, Oudom is the place. We’ll definitely be back!

Food is very good, beautiful presentation. They give you a weird little salad before your meal now, iceberg lettuce and a small piece of way underripe tomato, and they no longer have crispy duck. Still good, great service too.

WARNING, NEW OWNERS‼️
My family loves Oudoms and have been going for 20 years. Not anymore. They recently got new owners and the quality, presentation, service and atmosphere have absolutely dropped to the floor meanwhile prices greatly increased. They are trying to ride on the reputation of the old business which is such a shame. To start, our order was incomplete and we had to go back to get the rest. I’m glad we got takeout because the atmosphere was terrible. The pad see ew was dry with a bad flavor, the pad Thai was also dry and had brocolli (not supposed to) and no peanuts! The sushi was the very worst part . There was an obscene amount of cream cheese in EVERY single roll, completely overtaking the flavor. I figured out I guess they are trying to hide the flavor of IMITATION CRAB! Yep! $18 for a sushi roll with imitation crab . We got 5 rolls in total, the ones we ordered with crab had imitation crab, others had unappetizing ingredients such as cheddar cheese (?), but of course no real fish or fish eggs. The flavor of the sushi reminded me of grocery store sushi, but kind of grosser because we’re not even sure what ingredients they are putting in it (Let me guess, nothing fresh). AVOID !

Really enjoyed my first dining experience here. First of all the service was excellent! Our beverage glasses were always full, and there was always some one asking if we needed anything. Very impressed with the service. I had the Crunch Roll and the California Roll as my entrée and a crispy spring roll as an appetizer. The food is fresh and made to order. My husband had the Tom Yum soup and the Thai Basil. Delicious food and great presentation. We enjoyed the food. Highly recommended restaurant if you are in the downtown Deland area!
