Taste wise: very nice and authentic. Price-wise: excellent, very worth it! Service-wise: very friendly, smiley faces. A must-go Lao-Thai restaurant if you are in Fairfield. Will definitely come back for more. Their ox-tongue and Lao sausages are highly recommended!

I recently discovered a fantastic restaurant that offers a delightful fusion of Laotian and Thai cuisine.
Their menu features a wide variety of unique and delicious dishes that are sure to satisfy any craving.
The staff at this establishment are incredibly welcoming and accommodating, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
What’s more, they cater to families by staying open until late at night, making it a great option for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

Fast friendly service some of the dishes were banging such as the crunchy fried rice and chicken feet salad. Their deep fried barramundi is okay and the mango salad was more of a subtle add on to balance out the fish. Ordered a bunch if different dishes to try from along with their ice coffee which was one of my favourites. My actual rating is 3.5 but because the staff were accommodating and the service is quite quick its closer to a 4 then a 3.

This humble little thai-lao restaurant gem is totally under rated. Nestled in fairfield, not busy crowded city centre, serve exceptionally authentic thai-lao cuisine. Chef Owner take pride in every dish he prepared and all taste extremely good. The fried barramundi with green mango salad is a must to order every time we visit them. The chicken feed salad is heavenly. This is definitely the place when we crave for thai food in sydney. Unpretentious, pleasant and delightful.

We tried this little, neat restaurant recently for a quick Sunday lunch and it was a nice experience. Though the place is not big, but nicely decorated and ambience is good. The service is reasonable for suburban family restaurant.

We ordered a variety of Thai / Lao dishes like stir-fried morning glory (pad pak boom), po taek talae soup, bible salad and their signature dish aka sour grilled pork belly (moo-piau). They’re all good and authentic Thai / Lao dishes and you can modify the spiciness of the dishes, etc. We like our Thai dishes like the ones in Thailand which is spicy and sour and full of wok-hei smoky fragrant for the stir-fried dishes. The highlight of our lunch were the grilled pork and the stir-fried morning glory veggie, but the seafood soup (po taek talae) was also good, warming and refreshing at the same time.

The best part of having lunch in this place is that their prices are very reasonable and represents a good value of your money. Plus you can pay with credit card with no surcharge, which is always a big plus on customer service for me.

Friendly staff but tge food does not match the descriptions. Som tum lao very bland, flavourless, and missing the crab sour pork bwef dush ordered was simply beed strips fried with bland dipping sauce. No marinade flavour or stir fry sauce. May as well have been straight on the fry pan at home. Only dish that matched description was the duck apple salad. Sadly, i oedered without onion and this request was ignored so the dish was basicaly unedible for me.
