Charlie’s will heat you up and cool you off. With Shaved Ice on one side of my store and tanning beds on the other side. I started my business in 1997. I started with a push cart outside of Wal-Marts doors. From there we have grown to 1 push cart, 3 trailers, and a store.

Very cute place full of Christmas decore, feels like a winter wonderland! The shaved ice is so good with in house made syrup. The texture of the ice is nice and soft, syrups aren’t too sweet. Amazing service, the owners are super sweet.

The flavor options are limitless and they offer samples along with sugar fee flavors. The price per size is good and they offer out door seating just in case your anxious. I went here in 1999. Charlie’s Tanning took care of me and one of my best girlfriends. We we’re one of his first customers when our husband’s left us. He made us feel special and I will never forget the kindness and the way I felt like a real person. I just moved back to kilgore in 2019. And can’t wait to start again
