Ok I’m a bit of a food expert as I tend to eat a lot of food. We ordered several dishes from Tikka Masala Grill last night and given the history of the previous restaurants (other than the Italian) of this particular location had low expectations. Although the food took longer than expected (we ordered a couple of tandoori items) every dish was outstanding as was their service.
Everything from the naan to the butter chicken to tandoori chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had and they are incredibly nice and helpful. I realize this review sounds over the top but try it and see for yourself.

Great food, excellent service. But it was freezing inside the place. Not sure if the heat was broken. We had the chicken tikka and lamb tikka masalas. We had Chicken 65 as an appetizer. The garlic naan was so good. Came out to $60 before tip. I left $20 because everyone was so nice. It just opened up in the old Pizza Hut beside the Auto Zone. Don’t have to travel to Raleigh or Burlington for a good Indian place anymore.

We found the food to be delicious and the staff to be friendly. Loved the spicy chili vegetarian momos, the curry Madras, and the gulab. They were incredibly short staffed for a Saturday dinner service (one waiter to serve all of the dining area, take care of the door dash orders, and host the cashier stand) which did impact food times. However, the food was definitely worth the wait. Loved how bright and airy the inside felt as the outside gives a different mental picture. We will be back.

Was skeptical of an Indian place in pittsboro. Pleasantly surprised everything was great. Food flavorful with great portions. As someone who loves Indian food and goes out of there way over an hour to find some it’s nice that there’s great Indian food nearby now. Pittsboro definitely needed the variety as well from the 37 Mexican places. Please come and try it out so it doesn’t fall victim to the location that keeps closing. Best food in the location yet.

I’ve been coming here almost 2 times a week since it opened. I’ve only had take out, but this time was my first dine in experience. I cannot express how amazing this place is! I enjoyed their apex location, but this one is closer to home… which makes it all the better!
The food is exceptional, the service is excellent, and the environment is spectacular. I sound like an author or critic… but it is really that good.
This needs to be a spot must turn into a must have food spot in Pittsboro.
