We got the 14” Hot Honey Pepperoni, The New Yorker, and a Calzone.
All were very delicious. The New Yorker was the winner. So simplistic with a ton of flavor and texture with that chewy crust. The sauce really sets it over the top. It does have some zip while not being too spicy. My wife doesn’t usually eat overly spicy food and she also enjoyed this one.
She probably liked the Hot Honey Pepperoni better.
We got the Calzone w/ banana peppers, sausage, and meatballs. This was a good combo!
Highly recommend you give them a try. We’ll be back.

I liked the NY style pizza and thought I’d get the 14″ Gluten Free for my wife and me. As it’s advertised 14″ I figured it must have been made fresh. No, it’s 10″ and the same pie crust that every other pizza place sells. Very disappointed how small this thing was and average at best. Only saving grace wa the sauce and toppings.

Marcello’s is my new pizza obsession in Medina. I like Courthouse Pizza, but I honestly think Marcello’s is much better. I don’t claim to be a NY style pizza snob, but I do think it tastes great. As of right now, they have great pizza specials on Wednesday and Thursday. The location isn’t great (it’s tucked back into the Antique Mall plaza), so I’m trying to get the word out to make sure people know about them. It’s strictly a carryout place, and the service has been great both times that I’ve went to pick up our order. Definitely give this place a try… you’ll most likely be back not long after.

I grew up around NYC. A good nyc pizza doesn’t need any toppings because the crust, the sauce and the cheese are all awesome. Lived in Ohio 35 years and FINALLY found an awesome NYC pizza at Marcellos, that has all those elements. Try it. Promise you will love it. Extra cheese even better!!!i hope they franchise because its 1/2 hour away from me since i live in Lakewood, but worth the trip!!! Brian

Look I’m no Dave Portnoy, and I don’t know how to use his pizza scale. But this place just broke into my TOP TWO best pizza joints in Medina!
We had the 18” Large NY Style Pep with HUGE Garlic Knots. My goodness this sauce was amazing, did I mention the Garlic Knots?! WE. WILL. BE. BACK. I also didn’t get the lady at the front desks name, but she was very sweet and kind. 12/10
EDIT WITH SECOND VISIT: Stop what you are doing, and order a pizza from Marcello’s right now. This SAUCE IS THE BEST IN TOWN. Right off the highway this joint is awesome and easy to get to. Couldn’t recommend higher. If you want average pizza, go somewhere else. If you want great pizza, get Marcello’s. Crisp, flavors, colors and smells. It’s everything you could want. This is our second pie from this place and it will only be the first few of many more to come. Also, note that the lady at the counter is extremely kind. 12/10

What a fantastic place. The pizza is awesome. The spicy sauce is out of this world and a hidden gem that calzone is not to be missed go the extra mile and get the ricotta in the calzone! You know it’s a great place when you go to pick up your pizza and they show you what the pizzas look like before you take it out. Had the opportunity to have a nice talk with the owner we will definitely be coming back. Great service great Local pizza place. Have not tried by the slice Sicilian yet, but looking forward to that as well!

Pizza was delicious, thin, crispy crust just like NYC. Got 18″ deluxe and split with my friend and still had a slice leftover. Only one little table inside but that’s just due to limited space. It was nice and clean as well, worth a stop. Wish I lived closer I would have it more often.

What a wonderful hidden little gem. The pizza is outstanding with a legit cheese stretch. The garlic knots hit hard too. The lady at the register is so funny and knows her pizza. I will definitely stop in here again if I’m in the area.

If you’re debating on trying this place..just do it! It’s amazing!! I am so glad I tried this place while on a road trip. I haven’t had pizza like this in years. I will be back for sure; even though it’s a 6 hour drive for me!
