I am not someone to often give one star reviews, but felt my experience needed to be share. Not only was the food not good, but we waited over an our for our take out order (with no ETA given), when we finally did get the call, the bill was $30 more than I was expecting and a double order of an item had been apply to the bill. To top of the experience both myself and mother felt sick within the hour of eating it, so the extra food went straight to the garbage. Food poisoning and overpriced. Would not recommend going here.

Went out to enjoy the dinner buffet with my sister tonight. The food was mediocre at best. It was all quite dry and lacked flavour. However, that was not our biggest problem with this place. When we arrived at our table, there were ants on the table top and on the wall next to the table. The restaurant was completely silent, no music or any sort of background noise making it a very awkward dining experience. Also, when we went up to see what there was for any dessert options, my sister picked up a small piece of cake only to find it was completely frozen and she was unable to eat it. Subpar.

Ignore the negative reviews. This place is a gem. It’s a mom & pop operation and the food is excellent. Sometimes the owners have to step out and run errands. Not the end of the world. Sometimes they go on vacation. They always put a sign on the door if they’re going to be closed. They’re not really internet users so don’t rely on the google for details. Call ahead to be sure. Nobody who eats here on a regular basis reads or cares about these reviews anyway. But if you’re from out of town and unsure let me put your mind at ease.
For the freshest food order off the menu. If you have more than 3 people it makes more sense to order off the menu anyway since you’ll get fresher food than the buffet, you’ll get exactly what you want, and it will cost the same or less than the buffet. For example, four of us ate dinner here the other day and we ordered lemon chicken which is never on the buffet. We ordered 4 dishes and dinner was cheaper than if the four of us had ordered the buffet. The savings really add up if you have 5 or more.
I’ve eaten here dozens of times. My favorites are cantonese noodles with pork, lemon chicken, sweet & sour pork, wonton soup, and chicken balls sauce on the side. The wanton soup is the best I’ve ever had. The broth is amazing. Don’t hesitate. You’ll love this place. Just remember you’re in a town of 4000 people. Not a michelin star restaurant in Beijing.

Mediocre at best. Everybody seems to rave about this place but I found it mediocre at best. The ginger beef had no flavor of ginger as a matter of fact it was almost tasteless. There was absolutely nothing but I ate that was above okay. I really doubt I will eat here ever again. I may not be the world’s biggest judge of Chinese food but it is my favorite type of food and I have lived in mainland China so I imagine that counts for something. I have no idea whether they were having a bad night or whether this is the regular quality of the food.
A friend of mine and I drove all the way from Cardston to have the buffet but unfortunately found they were only offering take out that night.
I got the dinner for two and tried to substitute out the shrimp for egg foo young and was told there would be a $3 surcharge for any changes. Fair enough. I was then told the owner would never go for changing out the shrimp for egg foo young so I’d have to choose something cheaper on the menu. I don’t understand why I would be charged a $3 surcharge and then not be able to change shrimp for a simple egg dish.
Any dish that I got that had meat in it had very small amounts of meat and large amounts of either rice, vegetables or coating.
There’s now only seating a few days of the week along with the buffet only a few days a week so if you want to sit down or have the buffet you better call in advance.
I think this is the first time I have not really looked forward to eating Chinese leftovers. I mean I’m sure they will be edible but certainly not enjoyable.
I should add that the vegetables themselves were tasty thus my two stars rather than one.
This is just about the most disappointing restaurant visit I’ve ever had, especially after so much buildup by my friend.
Just my humble opinion.

My family & I are new to the area. We live about 30 minutes outside of Raymond & drove into town specifically for Chinese after hearing good online reviews. When we got there we saw a sign on the door saying “takeout only”. I admit I probably should have called ahead because we wanted to dine-in and assumed that the hours on Google & website would be up to date, which they were not. The woman on the phone was cold & unapologetic. We decided to eat elsewhere because we didn’t drive 30 minutes for takeout only.

Ordering off the menu is my preference, I’ve had the buffet and absolutely prefer ordering individual items.
The owners have always been excellent.
