We bought a roasted duck that was delicious. It’s all take out. The dim sum items were tasty and nicely priced.
We’re going back again!

Authentic hole-in-the-wall Cantonese and Dim Sum style restaurant. Freshly made items and fantastic, inexpensive prices for large size portions. Friendly and fast service. Delicious roast pork, Siu Mai, house Chow Mein, and rice rolls.

I came here for a Filipino-style Lechon and was not disappointed! The lechon was crispy and even though I ordered just half of a pig, it was still more than enough for a party of 30 people. I had no problems with communication or picking up the order. The deposit for the lechon was cash-only, and for $10 extra, they will chop it for you. I would consider them again for any future events. Thank you!

Hole in the wall place with cheap, authentic, delicious food! I don’t need to go all the way to China Town for Chinese food anymore; this place is super close to where I live and has legitimate Chinese BBQ hanging up that they’ll chop up for you right then and there, on top of all the other dishes they have. I’m not joking when I say it’s one of the cheapest places around–you can get honey walnut shrimp for about $9 when it’s typically $12-13 at other restaurants! Just remember to bring cash with you as they don’t take card. Definitely worth checking out if you want to try to save a few bucks.

Cheap and authentic Chinese food. They only take CASH. I highly recommend the eel stone pot rice (there will be some little bone pieces in there). The eel rice came with soup and vegetable (don’t know what kind).

This restaurant serves delicious Chinese bbq pork, side pork, and roasted duck. One nice thing about Golden Daisy is it locates right at the front door coming from the west. It’s on your left side cannot miss it.
The side pork is crispy, the bbq pork is sweet, and the duck is perfectly cooked. I recommend eating it with steamed rice, and you will like it.
Customer service is good. Be sure to swing by before 3 PM if you want a good bbq. After this time, the bbq runs low, and you may not be able to get what you want to eat.

I got there and it looks closed but there’s an open sign. Inside looks closed, all lights off and everything looks grimy. The lady listed off about five things that they actually have out of the whole menu, they don’t have anything else available. The cook was inside sitting at a table with his shoes off up on the chair. It had flies going around inside and looks incredibly unsanitary. I’ve been trying to find other places to try out in this area so this was incredibly disappointing.

We had the ginger chicken and house fried rice. This place is one of the only Chinese restaurant left in Beacon Hill. This says a lot considering this use to be a Chinese neighborhood. The food is classic Chinese American. We will definitely be going back to contributing to their preservation. The first time we had it was at a catered event. I’m glad we went back. It’s an old school classic. Supporting or neighbors will be a joy. Can’t wait to try the chow mein.
