Standout dishes include the beef noodle soup, wok noodles, and their freshly wrapped dumplings. We also loved the salt and pepper tofu, as well as the tender green beans and refreshing cucumber salad. Every dish felt thoughtfully made and true to regional Chinese flavors.
As the name suggests, their knife-cut noodles are the star of the show — hand-pulled, perfectly chewy, and a must-try. This is unpretentious dining at its best, delivering top-quality food without any frills.
Best enjoyed with a small group (2–4 people), though seating can be a challenge during peak times. Still, it’s absolutely worth the wait. Highly recommend!
Parking salsa very difficult to find.
The broth clearly isn’t made from instant seasoning. It tastes rich and well-simmered, which is honestly hard to find these days. The prices are very reasonable, and they even offer free noodle refills, which is a huge plus.
Their beef pancake is also really good. It is crispy, flavorful, and very generous in size.
Overall, it’s a solid spot with great value and authentic flavors. It’s perfect for dinner after work, like when you want something warm. Highly recommend giving it a try!
Just a couple of things they could have done better:
1. Their lamb meat is a bit tough and chunky. I would love them to be more tender.
2. The suggested tips are after tax. Only works for those who are unaware.
+ Both the sauce in their dry noodles and the soup in their soup noodles are great – can’t go wrong with either.
± Chinese pancakes were so-so: he filling is good, but the texture and lack of crisp from the pancake was disappointing.
– Wait times can be long (30+ minutes) due to the restaurant’s small size.
While the service is decent, the food is just slightly missed my expectation. Food is good but I would not drive 10 minutes to get it.
